Defining the concept, It is simply a direct transition out of defense into attack. A system that is reliant on a solid defensive foundation that is meant to sit back, absorb pressure and attack the opposition when they least expect it.

Most of the time, that transition is carried out by the wingers who are also heavily involved in the defending and this is where Eden comes in.

One of the reasons our defense have been exposed beyond limits this term is because the backline isn't getting overloaded like before. The CMs and wingers failure to track back and reject space in our own half has really been one of our major undoing.

Hazard is suffering from a lack of fitness. He's clearly put a lot of weight on, doesn't seem to have that burst of pace to accelerate past defenders that he had previously.
