I really pity for them. But to be honest, the process taken for this recruitment was never transparent.

Overbloated civil service posts.
Country needs more private jobs than we all piggyback on the government.

The irony is that bureaucracy and corruption are some factors affecting the growth of private industries.

What you are saying has no bearing with the topic

Is the how the 2million jobs will be created.

The ones Buhari will employ will have only NEPA bill instead of a WAEC certificate or is it spiticate.

was it GEJ that fired them? He gave some people employment and another person decides to fire them without any reason.
Common sense!

these people are Nigerians and for the most part not politicians, just being employed under GEJ doesn't automatically make you a politician. If this people passed the recruitment test, then they shouldn't be sacked because the where employed under GEJ (it is a stupid assertion made by a lot of people on this forum.)

This are Nigerians, they passed the test and are eager to work, GEJ or Buhari (if this people are fired then more money will be spent training new recruits) and yet Nigerians (the recently sacked ones) will still be out of a job. it doesn't change the status quo... we need to create more jobs.

Transparency? So why and how where they dismissed?
Mitigation? This are youths who just got training in arms/weapon handling, being thrown out into the unemployment market. What are the implication on society and what's the mitigation?

i was part of this recruitment i did my part even though i had help from the person screening me and i was sure of the marks i was given i still didn't make the cut.there was a lot of political manipulations but that dosent mean people didn't also get there on merit there are exceptions and yes yes some people got there on merit.but overall i feel it is wrong to cancel the recruitment.think of people who resigned their jobs and went there;went through training only for their hopes to be dashed how would you feel if it were your brother or sister.
believe it or not if we had that political connections we would have exploited it to our advantage. if i had someone in a political position and i wanted a job in a federal establishment don't you think i would use it.
yes they should protest

At least, if a few of these guys could get together and and form a group, get one or two sponsors and put their weapons training to use just randomly killing a few innocent Nigerians consistently for the next few months, a committee would be set up to grant them amnesty and put them on a monthly payroll twice what they would have earned as legal recruits. This sounds like a mere wish, however, this is fast becoming our reality in this country.

Which way Buhari?

It would have been better if they had been dismissed due to lack of qualifications or because they could not carry out their tasks.....

Anyway they have just cleared space for their own APC related people to enter sha, we know how the story always goes.

The recruits are not even the people that were either injured or lost relatives (3 family members)in the Abba Moro tragedy...

These ones are relatives of ogas at the Top that were hurriedly fixed in in the twilight of Jona's govt.

A verification will confirm this.....

the difference is very clear. Publicity was made concerning recruitments. 1000 naira was paid by each applicant. Examination was written by the applicants why many people died during the recruitment exercise. It was later cancelled. Another publicity was made concerning another recruitment exercise. Lot of people applied. There was no exam,no other means of assessment but people were shotlisted. What criteria were used in shotlisting these people? None. Only those related to our ogas at the top! Hope u have seen the difference?!!! It was a sham and a publicity stunt!!!
