My story is not d typical pregnant woman story as i did not inform d embassy of my change of intent.
Travelled at 32+ weeks with my mum on 18th oct with KLM (los-amst-bos). Got to boston yesterday afternoon and my plane was one of the plane that first landed for the day, so it was not a long queue.
Cbp off: what are you here for
Mum:vacation nd shopping
Cbo off:whrere are you staying
Mum:hotel..we already booked
Cbp off: how long are you staying
Mum : 4weeks
Cbp off:how much do you have with you
Mum &me: $9070
Cbp off: put yoir fingers and blah blah..stamp us fr b2 with no expiry date on it
Though i have all d information they might ask for in case they use witch eye see my belle as e no big (i have everything except change of intent letter)
We used less than 2min..then off to Agric, dey seized our ofada rice fried meat, ungrinded egusi and dried pomo .. but its fine am in.
Even d question i ws asked at amsterdam pass boston question ... before boarding the connecting flight there were some officers asking questions just like the POE in US.
Resting in boston for 2days then off to houston to meet my fellow naija mamas.
Boston seem like a simple POE...before it got to our turn, d cbp officer used less than 2mins wit evryone . Even with d fact that its our first time i thought it was going to be alot of question but it was not. But i dont know may be its because i was with my mother oo. I wish everyone coming into d US a successful entry.

I was not showing, so they didnt ask..was holding tho incase they asked..i think the policy on there website is 36weeks but for dem mama twin 32weeks. You can check the policy on there website

Hi Guys! Firsttymum, olokings and other gurus in the house.... Pls I want to ask a qts o! I'm headed to Houston but want to stop over for a week 2 cool off @ our family friends place Maryland before heading to HOUSTON. My problem now is that I'm flying to JFK and will catch a one hr 30mins flight to MD n after a week I will be porting to my birthing town, so what address will I use on my landing card and dunno how stressful it will be coz I'm going with a 4yrs old! Will d airline in America fly me @3oweeks Pls cos I'm going at 29weeks cos of ARIK wahalA! I'm so confused n dunno if I shud just go straight to Houston but boredom is also my problem!! So, are you in the Country for only vacation and shopping? It seems you were asked a pretty routine question and you intentionally left out an important detail. I hope it doesn't come back to bite you in the you know what because that response was documented. It's also on record that you will be staying for 4weeks...

Pls Im getting frustrated trying to get hospitals in dallas or miami. The issue is not getting hospital but the doctors fees and correspondence. I have made numerous calls but no success. Pls how can i do this. I need to apply asap as im due in january. But i cant apply without a docs correspondence.

Pls any help on miami n dallas plz. How can i contact a doc plz.

Pls lets pass the right information because of newbies that will be reading the thread, its not just enough to pay your bills and get receipts. All interactions are documented in the system. We'v had series of good news, so i have been reluctant to share this, but a family friend was turned back from Atlanta on Sat, because when she went to have her first baby she dint declare @ POE. This is someone that went thru dropbox, wasn't pregnant when she got her visa and had all her receipts with her. Some people are lucky but not all

I hope this "White lie" doesn't come to bite her in the future.

Why not check the policy of the local airline you want to fly? you can also put a call to them to confirm

It was at Abu Dhabi they person was sent back. Abu Dhabi is the POE if you use Ethihad.

What I said is that if Abu Dhabi is a POE now in future Dubai can also be a POE after all they are in the same country.

Please note Dubai is not a POE.

I guess her liver wasnt strong enough to tell them shes there for Child birth especially as she didnt get the visa for that purpose and no letter of change of intent was sent.
