This is one of the oldest departments of biochemistry in Nigeria with a rich history of contribution to the manpower development needs of our nation.Since inception in 1972, we have produced alumni and alumnae that have distinguished themselves as worthy ambassadors of “Great Ife”. We are proud to say we are not resting on our oars. We are continually responding to the changing face of our subject, as well as the needs of our nation so that we continue to build individuals who can hold their own in industry, health and education sectors, now and in the future. Our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes areas strong as ever.The Department runs an 8-semester B.Sc. programme, a 4-semester M.Sc. programme and a Ph.D. programme that runs for a minimum of 6 semesters. With our constant training and retraining of our staff, we are positioned to remain among the best departments of biochemistry anywhere in the world.

Hi guys! my waec certificate doesn't have my 3rd name on it (just the 1st & last name) but both utme & p-utme does. Hope this is no issue?

I would rather you visit your almamata and waec office for enquiry and quick amendation.
For now,Waec is not the issue;
Thank GOD such mistake was not made in utme &putme.
Waec certificate would only be required during clearance,that would be next year.
But then I would rather,you amend it b4 December ending.
I knew of someone whose Midname and Last name was mistakenly interchanged at OAU putme,met the cutoff but was deny Pharmacy years back.So congrats.Do the needful sharpaly,procrastination they say is the mother of.......Divert that in the earnest.
