Good morning house. Please i need some advice.

@Khalesi, @thesoj, @montrealer @EmmaMsc and all,
Please as a graduate of french langauge (B.A 2005, 2.1, 3.77 GP) with over 7years professional experience in Human Resources, Apart from applying for an MBA or Masters in HR or Masters in French Language, Which other course or program can i apply to and Justify well in an SOP directly or indirectly using my language skills and professional skills.

Thank you for your advice.

I think you're good to go. Your portfolio is tight so your SOP's quality won't be a problem. I prefer HR anyday anytime and you can study in French as already said.

Hi guys, please I need your advice. I submitted my application since August and got a mail from VFS Global that my application has been forwarded to Canada Visa Office Accra.
Tracking my application last weekend I found "your processed passport has been dispatched from The Canada Visa Office Accra on 14/10/2015 to the Canada Visa Application centre.
I am left wondering what this means because I am yet to receive any invitation for medical.
Can someone please help with a piece of advice on what this signifies.
My school resumes in January 2016 and I need to put my traveling documents in order before the end of December 2015.
This is exactly what is happening to me, in fact, i applied in August too. I wanna knw d meaning as well.

Hey everyone. I had to register to share my testimony as it may just be what someone particularly needs at a point. Forgive the length cos this thread has been dry for a while compared to when I first found it.

All in a bid to satisfy my curiosity, I stumbled upon this thread about 2 weeks into my online application. Coupled with satisfying my curiosity, the thread subtlely exposed my many flaws. I thought I had my application all together until it got to the rush hour & mass denial turned the order of the day. But then the rush period passed, CIC september recess and then even afterwards! People be giving their testimonies and behind my phone I'd be like well, There is God! Some people
expressed their worries after about a month into their app & after reading I'm just like 'me wey done dey wait since June nko".

However after weeks of seemingly endless waiting, I already gave myself delay letter when God didn't. I been done tick Insufficient funds (lol). + I was really scared when the US & CA sharing information thingy came up cos I failed to give up one of my brother's temporary residence in d US + there was this UG guy who was 17 & was denied. Someone posed probably cos he was underage + i didn't even declare my UK visa, so Travel history suppose be follow come too. There and then i just told myself to get off it as the main reasons for denial are what i failed to fix in my app. But God showed up for me, guys the miracles that happen with prayers ehn? cannot be overemphasized kwa. God won eventually!

My app was so imperfect but like a lady on here

said something like 'it may tarry' but it will surely come. All I submitted was;
CIC forms
Acceptance letter
Dad's bank statement (5.8M only; you see why I ticked insufficient funds?)
Waec result
Birth certificate
SOP
Document checklist sha
If this didn't come now, I probably would have failed my Nursing board exam which is in 2 weeks(lol. the worries were all over me) but God's timing is perfect.
Note: I only turned 18 a month+ after submitting my app.
Glory to God!!!

Congratulations seems ppl heading to Manitoba for January are increasing. And we r going for Same course.

yes goes for "Have you been refused visa or permit into Canada or other countries?"

No for "Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada?"[/quote] since you've not applied for permanent residency

Thanks for the insight ayooluwatoni, but for paper application, if your medial result is sent, will you receive a mail saying medical has been passed or so?

Did u receive a mail of such in your own case?

Please I am about applying to Concordia university of Edmonton. For Masters in information security management. The course fee for the 5 semseters is a total of $33,996 but my sponsor can only afford 2.5M naira. What can I do? Has anyone successful gotten a scholarship here before?
I also heard student living expenses in Canada for the two years could be around $15000 extra??

Please try understand the core courses before dropping. Some courses are offered in a particular calendar and once you drop it then you might have to wait till the next. Besides, would advise not to drop for now till you resume, understand the process, see if you could cope and if not there is a time limit to drop.

Ok noted! Thanks.

Are you schooling at uOttawa?

No you won't. But I think CIC would recommend applicants who didn't pass the exam to go for further tests.
So again I say unto you, RELAX! You're closer to getting your TRV than you ever imagined!

To remain in Canada means applying for permanent residency, and except you've done that before, then it is NO

i want to know how the gurus in the house see this school (hope it not a red flag school)

is it normal for one to pay tuition deposit first before as the school demands before applying for visa?

It's not a red flag der r ppl from dis trend who are already der and dey got der TRV. If the school asked u to pay half of the tuition first. Then u av to pay its normal. Ppl even pay complete tuition but it depends on ur sch sum don't need it until u arrive.
