It's going to be a difficult match for Utd in Russia. CSKA has an impressive home record and the weather is also on their side. This however doesn't mean Utd can't win.

We don't need Schneider nor Herrera on the bench. LvG had better get the formation right.

I told you 3 weeks ago we were not that motivated for a win and wanted to help your sorry arsses out

We didnt need to you, your season depended on the result

Hopefully they pair us together in knockout stages so we can teach you footballing lessons as we usually do

See as dem turn Belerin inside out like Kris Kros

You again? Are you really without shame? Saying they turned bellerin inside out?
BTW, what was Neuer turned into?

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney says he feels fitter than ever and has many more years left him ahead of his 30th birthday on Saturday.

Rooney has come in for criticism for his lacklustre displays this season, with many suggesting the player is past his peak.

However, England's all-time leading scorer has found the back of the net eight times in 14 appearances for club and country so far.

"I have been playing football a long time and for me, it (age) is a number," Rooney told reporters ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash with Spartak Moscow.

"In terms of me and football, I still feel I am young enough, and that I have a lot of years ahead of me.

"I have had no major muscle injuries and us players now have all the support of sports science, and all the other guys to help us in terms of preparation, training and games, so I think it's still a fairly young age and hopefully I have got a lot of years to come."

"I feel fitter and fresher than I ever have done really. I couldn't sit here and say I am going to play five or ten more years, but it's something which I have not even thought about," he added.

"We want to get back to winning trophies, of course. That is why you play football -- to try and be successful, certainly at this club," Rooney said.

"In the last few years we haven't been good enough. There has been a big change in the club over the last few years and it's now starting to settle back down into a good rhythm with what the manager wants from us and we are improving," he added.

Rooney is feeling younger and fitter when he's currently stinking the whole joint up. Only God knows how much value he'd subtract if he wasn't feeling fit.

Don't see us losing if LvG field same line up against Everton with same tactics; stay compact and patient, and attack quick.

Shay oju ti e? Iru oponu omo wo ni e bayi ke?! Na so-so sufferhead dey sweet you so? We sodomized your useless team last night, yet you are still foolishly praying they pair us together in the knockout stages?

BALLERin is by far a worthy football defender than that apeere (basket) of an Alagolo you call a defender in your team. The way BALLERin is playing, Alago has never and will never reach his potential.

LOL. By Jah's grace, Mancunians won't let EPL down. Apart from preventing a party, we need the bragging rights to shut naysayers up.

BTW, you missed an epic fight between Coog, Aírmark and Nihílist. No worry, next time, I'll reach out to Assin Wenger to notify you of any ongoing fight. grin

I have truly missed. I have been eagerly waiting to see what substance Nihilist is made of. I saw the fighting was brewing when Coogar was throwing jibes at Nihilist, but my lack of 24/7 internet prevented me from reading Nihilist response. Airmark na certified jaguda with those hin gifs. grin

Anyways, I am hoping you guys win tonight.

you would realize that group games is different from knockout

That is the reason why Arsenal have never knocked out Bayern in CL history

Ballerina was turned inside out by Costa and even has his intestines hanging from his neck at this moment

We wont care for group stage. what matter more in groups is to qualify and if youre confident enough you fit bet say Bayern would still finish ahead of arsenal in the group

Is there any game your team goes into without hoping to win? The fact is Arsenal needed the game more than us

A loss would have knocked them out while a loss for us still have us topping the group

If its knockout I can bet $1000 that we knock them out anyday anytime

You know rooney will start.
If not for this anti Depay media campaign, memphis should start too.
I think LVG will just stick with the line up that played everton.

Costa isnt an hyped player, No one has ever compared him to any great player

And currently he has 1 goal and 1 assist in the CL while Hidden Ikedia Hazard has 0 goals and 0 assists

True.
No one says Costa is on the same level as Messi or Ronaldo.
No one says Costa will win WOPTY
Costa doesn't have 5 goals in 3 seasons of champions league with 2 penalties.

Only supporters of the lower half team yarn this poppycock.

On this one, you are right.

Decent line up though we might suffer in creativity cos of the absence of Mata. Maybe Lingard to help check Musa runs.

Lingard now ahead of Depay. Good for Depay until he humbles himself and work hard.

Good luck to the team!

I'm so happy to see Lingard in the Lineup!
He's gonna impressed and delivered! Mata needs a rest, and it's nice Lingard can be a good backup for him!
Martial is likely to play on the left wing this night as well!

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Zaha(m): 7:03pm On Oct 21, 2015
RUSSIAN FAN SENDS UNITED FLAG INTO SPACE “We’ll keep the red flag flying high” is a chant often heard at Old Trafford, but it’s fair to assume nobody has shown their colours on higher ground than Alexey Yakovlev. Amazingly, with a little help from NASA astronaut Steve Swanson, the 36-year-old United fan from Moscow, Russia, sent his own MUFC flag into space for 169 days in 2014, when it orbited the earth 2,704 times. As Alexey told ManUtd.com ahead of Wednesday's match with CSKA Moscow, his is an interesting tale. “I have been supporting Manchester United for 15 years now, since the year 2000,” Alexey explained. “It started in Kosovo, of all places, where I used to be a peacekeeper and where I found a lot of English friends who were also big Reds. They convinced me to become a fan as well! “But the idea about sending a flag to space only came to me when I ordered it from a friend in England. I realised I could do it because I’ve been working as a translator at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Russia. That’s how I made friends with Steve, who I do a lot of translating for. “Steve is American and is not a United fan but he quickly agreed to take my flag up to the International Space Station for me because he had some extra space in his own luggage. They are allowed to take 1.5kg up there and the flag only weighs 85 grams, so it was an easy fit. “I am very proud of what I did and I am proud of the photo because United means a lot to me. We’ve waved our flag up in space and I doubt very much that anybody can take it higher than that!”
