@afolaseg @omooba2015 While they are infinitely better than Naija policiticians, you guys should read more about Canada or USA or UK politics and you will find out that even the most well-meaning politicians can't implement most of their promised policies because they have to deal with the opposition. But yeah, I agree that immigration policies will likely get better under Justin Trudeau... just don't bet your money on the notion that most things on that list would be implemented. The fact that his party won doesn't mean that they can now be autocratic over all the other parties that lost. It is a democracy where power is shared, and rightfully so. And NO, they cannot be successfully sued if they don't fulfill their campaign promises. A campaign promise is not a legal contract nor is it legally binding. We can only hope that Trudeau's party has the will and political savvy to implement as many of their promised immigration policies as possible. Cheers. 6 Likes |

Hello House, Please anyone applied to Uni of Regina - HR Mgt - Masters for 2016 fall session? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by Khalesi: 7:54pm On Oct 22, 2015 |
adeoluwaeboni: They should have sent a hard copy of your acceptance letter to your postal addy you indicated while applying to the school. If by any means that copy disappeared en-transit, you can write the academic assistant to print another original copy but this time you'll have to arrange for a courier agent to pick it up from the school and send to Naija for you. I did same and got it within a week. I'm also heading to uOttawa. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by thesoj: 8:00pm On Oct 22, 2015 |
You can reupload the letter if you haven't paid for and submitted the application yet. Just upload again and it will overwrite the old version. Edited: since you submitted, then you can't change it. Zionplace: 1 Like |

Am loving everyone's post of late. Apart from the oldies, everyone is asking for a brother or sister or frnd. No one is asking for his /her self. Why the hide and seek? Ask for urself and no one will crucify you. Help each other out. thats why we are here rather than asking for a frnd. Where is that frnd,. show him nairaland to join and stop asking for him. Are you his Pa? 7 Likes |

berexio1: they send both hard copy by post and soft copy by mail attachment. If applying online then no need for the hard copy. Don't know if photocopies can be used for paper submission. |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by Khalesi: 10:33pm On Oct 22, 2015 |
jejeman: Go through the previous pages especially part 8, you'll find details of the procedure for upfront medicals. Team12 simplified it so well, you won't miss anything. Note to TRV hopefuls, if something is worth doing then it's worth your time and dedication. When you're advised to go through the previous pages of this thread, it's not like one wants to punish and make others suffer. If you're a prospective student, then searching and researching for information should be a part of you. No one wants to throw money away paying application and biometric fees only to be rejected or delayed because of a shoddy application. If time is not on your side, then let it go, target next admission session and put forward a quality and credible application before fasting and praying. 7 Likes |

Hello house, this page has been very helpful but i still need clarity on this issue: I want to apply for a 1yr human resource management program in uni of winnipeg, i am married with a 2 year old kid, is it possible to go with hubby and kid? How much should we budget if possible. Is landed properties and extended families enough ties to Nigeria for us? Thank you |
