Just to buttress my previous rant (lol) on Oando and even the NSE we have experienced so far this year. Optimism should be balanced with caution. Access bank was on full offer for a day and the next day switched to full bid. The result was released and market performance was lackluster.
I am not a kill-joy but just highlighting the summary of the NSE this year - highly volatile and unpredictable. I am sure many thought UBA will be flying by now but where are we? Why not? But result was good. When it will eventually take off....no one knows.
We can only patiently watch and prepare. Taking decisions based on just a day's action might cost us. Let's play safe.

OBAGADAFFI:

Let be straightforward here.

If you don't like taking risk with your money go for mutual funds and T'Bills, they are both less risky but with very little interest/profit.
but your capital will be intact.

T'Bills are the best because you collect your interest immediately your investments starts, while in mutual funds interest comes after your investment maturity.

But stocks trading is very risky, every persons trading stock have experienced losses, but most of them are now millionaire and billionaires.

Depending on trading strategy, you can loose big and win big in stocks.
how do I trade in tbills, is online trading also possible

Which kind Administrative expenses be this? Wale Tinubu and co don use our money settle themselves!

Borrowings - 473billion
Intangible assets - 245billion
Retained earnings - now negative.

How did this Coy find itself here? Fear that this coy may be heading towards bankruptcy. Halleluyah, I bailed out long time ago. Heading below #5 like one Oga said here. For all the O n O faithfuls it is well.

While other companies are releasing Q3 2015 results OANDO PLC will be at the NSE today to address stockbrokers on matters relating to the audited FY 2014 result by 1.30pm. What a way not to run a company. Forteoil already has released her Q3 2015 numbers. Is time for us to say no to impunity in the running of any public quoted company in Nigeria. Mr Wale Tinubu has crossed the line...................

cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy A 2nd read of your post after checking the result got me cracking. So Uncle Wale knows there are "matters arising" from this result. Damage control needed on the floor of the NSE. Chai!!!

I am almost sure of one thing though, they have a plan to protect the share price. Hence the need for this meeting. Why schedule a meeting same day result was released? The unfolding events might also give us a clue to the 60M units traded the other day. A big boy couldn't just bear it any longer (my own theory). Forget the corresponding price increase.....that one na O and O gimmick.

I just hope Sir Peterichy will understand that the "Cowboys, Shark, and The Men in Black" don't give a damn about your emotion or what you feel about the company. My heart is just bleeding and worrying concerning the innocent investors/traders who used their hard earned money to buy this company shares. Only God know what you are feeling right now...

Sir, read my assertion on Oando on previous post Wale is not the only one controlling the direction of the company. Why not ask the chairman, Otunba? Only ordinary investors/traders are complaining...the lions share of the profit are taken by the shark themselves!

banks were just selling treasury bills and bonds..

moreover why wont they make money when they collect deposits at 2 -3% and turn round to lend at 25-30%

There are too many avenue for banks to make money..............You can imagine that Access charges 40k custodian fee on 10Million Treasury bills and 6k as t.bills commission while some other banks charges only 6k for both custody and commission...........Some banks are plainly robbing peter to pay paul................

But you used to be very optimistic about this stock. I have never hidden my reservations about Wale's strategy or running and ruining the company. I wrote a letter to NSE and SEC to complain about how shareholders were cheated by Wale and his gang in 2012.

Absolutely yes sir. That was before when Uncle Wale still treading on the path of conscience. The moment he decided not to listen to some top advisers and heading towards securing some unfavorable deals with some greed investors after the COP at the detriment of ordinary shareholders', then one should think twice.
