buchilino: What belongs to the Nigerian government belongs to the Nigerian people, it's public property, it belongs to you and me, meaning it's not a private Jet. Get some needed education before opening your mouth to discuss anything. |

I tot they said. It was wrong for the former minister of petroleum to use chartered flights all around the world to meet up with meetings but now it's okey for customs controller to use same within Nigeria when he can jump on any of the so many airlines with business class for his facility inspections who no like better thing Very nice 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: Hameed Ibrahim Ali Flies Jet To Lagos (Photos) by aresa: 5:32pm On Oct 23, 2015 |
dazdilijae: 1. There's a clear difference between government owned jets and charter jets. 2. NNPC owned corporate jets so there was no need for wasting taxpayers money on chattered jets. It was reckless, irresponsible and obviously was a scheme to enrich the owners of the chartered jets. 3. Customs jets are operational jets so it's absurd and ridiculous to confine the head of the Customs and his official operations to commercial flights and their timetable. 4. Flying the head of customs and his officials around the country on multiple missions and stops is not only foolish and impractical, it cost more. It's really not by force for you people not to ever make sense with your shallow and childish assertions.. |

SenseiX: Thanks. I wanted to say that. At OP, next time you see any aircraft with green stripes and coat of arms at the tail, it belongs to the Presidential fleet. They have quite a large fleet, that is why they could lend one to the Custom's boss. Whether he is entitled to Presidential jet or not is a matter for another day. |

Re: Hameed Ibrahim Ali Flies Jet To Lagos (Photos) by aresa: 10:52pm On Oct 23, 2015 |
VivaVivre: 1. It's not my opinion that the customs boss works at the pleasure of the man who hired him aka PMB. This is a FACT and not my opinion 2. It is not my opinion that as commander in chief, PMB can direct any government plane at his disposal to take the customs bus to and from any place on he surface of the earth in any official capacity or engagement on behalf of the federal government of Nigeria. This is a FACT and not my opinion. 3. The plane in question belongs to the Nigerian customs. This is a FACT and not my opinion. 4. The plane was bought by the Nigerian customs and was commissioned by Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala in 2012. This is a FACT and not my opinion. Some of us come with facts when we discuss credible issues, unlike some ignorant and unintelligent people of course. |
