You cannot always predict the future. Currently, the strongest hurricane ever recorded in history in the western hemisphere ie (Hurricane Patricia) is about to hit Mexico. Now, imagine if this hurricane affects the oil production facilities in the gulf of Mexico to the extent that it damages the facilities catastrophically. That will lead to a sudden spike in oil price. Tell me you won't scramble for oil stocks on Monday.

Shareholders are the owners, investors should not invest with sentiments but with facts and figures. I owned Oando shares for 20 years right from the days of Unipetrol, but had to sell my total holdings of over 200k units when the future of the company started becoming bleak.

I will take my time this night to look at the OandO results again. Maybe I could see just one thing that will make shareholders smile even if for just a second.

The bolded was what my Big Bros told people when he was trying to woo investors For starcomms IPO, through his Issuing House.

Until Starcomm KPI started falling, and CDMA business started dying in Nigeria.

Today most people with starcomms stocks, are left hanging. While the Lebanese and Nigeria directors cleared the company treasury and disappeared.

Company owners get levels. If you understand my pigin.

shareholders are the owners, and investors need to do their home work before they commit their hard earned money into any investment. Investors also need to be informed and knowledgeable about their investments.

It's very funny hope we pump stocks on here and crack jokes with occasional Jabs and verbal missiles here and there but truth is never told. Maybe we need more of this result for sanity and fundamental analysis of facts and figures to return back to this great forum.

It's well with us and those that will still jump into this stock in nearest future

Naa, some of them are really disappointed.

Because they've been marketing Oando to the world as a stable coy.

Even SMN is boiling now grin

But I know the company Will recover big time.

Oando needs proper restructuring, and thats what FMN is currently doing.

That administrative costs just show that Oando lacks efficiency

Me, I hope [people like] Dumexoga is okay o. I saw him lurking on this thread, probably taking in the comments over the disaster that is the Oando results. I am still annoyed that I did not dump my tashere Oando shares before this car crash was publicised...I am equally grateful that I did not let greed carry me away to invest massively in this catastrophe.

Thank goodness for small mercies.

Lots of ITK people like you are the reason people loose money unnecessarily.

And we're did you get the fallacy that stock money goes into T.Bills, even some mutual funds from ARM and Stanbic are shielded from the Stock market.

I am not a novice to the Stock market bubbles, I have always been involved in stock market even when I am losing.

But I will never ever invest my emotions in any company I don't have the capacity to make decisions.

You probably never attended any AGM were you have to fight to question the Board of directors.

U have no obligation to apologise unless ur trying to follow biblical principal that says follow peace with all men, and pray for those who use u and despise you. I made my stand clear on his prediction which some of those posts were hijacked from backyard to outer darkness. He is too loaded with joy that even acid spit couldn't take him outcomes of this forum, so why now.

myjoy08 our Joy, ur Joy. Your congregation of bruised and battered souls are waiting for you words of succour. Don't aboundon ur sheep and ur ministry.

#joke of the yearzzz

I think the main reason Myjoy08 deactivated his account is very clear. He got a lot of warnings to desist or refrain from his over-optimism in order to protect his reputation in NSEMPA but he refused and attracted the interest of some gullible and naive followers, perhaps, unintentionally. He had to disappear just the same way he appeared in NSEMPA. The only advice I have for victims of his ever-optimistic posts is to avoid future shock by stop being over-reliant and rise to the challenge. @Myjoy08, please come back if possible. NSEMPANs will miss you.

@B2BR, is it possible to reactivate ones account after deactivation?

Then you're very lucky.
I have attended several AGM @ MUSON and Civil center and it was shouting and arguments through out the meeting.

Just imagine how an Oando AGM will look like.

I hope so too. I also saw him among those viewing this thread. I remember the insults he gave to those who tried to warn investors against buying Oando. I am not trying to laugh at anyone's misfortune but to buttress a point that we should not always condemn those who criticize a particular stock with reasons. Instead we should carry out due diligence on their criticism and do what we think is right. I am also not saying Oando will not rise again.

The stock might not suffer much depending on NSE market sentiment.

But these result Will give the management sleepless nights.

But I noticed that only the banking sector release good results, compared to other sectors.
