@zimoni @ wytecat,

The beautiful & great thing about Yoruba is that we do not let politics spoil our omoluwabi, irrespective of our differences we are Yoruba & always without fail maintain the brotherhood...

Muslim, Christians, Aborisa, we think of ourselves as humans 1st before any other appellation....

God will continue to grow & bless us all...

Don't quote the bummy albino monkey. The Igbo bandit is just mad there are no suicidal criminals on death row on this thread. When he keeps talking to himself with no response - he'll join his IPOB brothers and become target practice for AK47.

While I don't want to derail this thread, the herdsmen issue will not be resolved until we come up with a holistic solution which benefits all parties and preserves the way of life of both the herdsmen and encroaching farmers.

Two Nigerians in US Civil Service win White House praise

Two US-based Nigerians employed by the American government are shining brightly in their different endeavours in the United States and are receiving US presidential recognitions, Empowered Newswire reports.

Both Mr. Abel Alagbe, a University of Ibadan graduate who works at the US Department of Agriculture and Mrs Temilola Fatoyinbo-Agueh of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration, NASA, are being honored with different presidential awards. While Alagbe is receiving the US Presidential Volunteer Service Awards and Call to Service Award, Fatoyinbo-Agueh was honored as one of the top US early scientist recognised by White House this year.

While we are at it, who are our heros today? I have stopped every kid around me from watching yoruba movies and stations. The AREA BOY life is fast creeping on our young generation, our movies now portrays MC Oluomo, kunle poly, pasuma and as heros to our kids. This is killing the mentality of our children, these younger ones now believe hard work is for the dumb and success is in the streets.
Have you wondered why our farms are empty and the few active one are worked on by people from the middle belt.

We are fast loosing it, we are breeding a generation of lazy touts, i am not surprised the other are not only catching up with us but overtaking our 'strongholds'.
