Yea. But the truth is that no major road pass through Orumba south LGA. To get to Orumba south, you must stop at a point on the major roads, and use the inter- town roads , and some of those inter town roads are tarred.

Okay.

I laugh whenever i hear people say "the Igbos hate themselves".
Ever wondered how we were able to bounce back so quickly after the civil war?? here is your answer.
WE take great pride in our communities, our people and our way of life; and, WE NEVER APOLOGISE FOR THAT!
what they call hate,is nothing but the internal competition they see us engage in,which of course is geared towards our improvement.

As e dey pain una say igbos they enter Lagos every day dey make am, e dey sweet my belle. We will keep escaping and be bringing back d money to develop our communities.

U want one Nigeria but don't want igbos to be outside igbo land. If u can't compete with igbos in Lagos go mud. All these una escaping igbo land can't stop us. Bring another angle to Ur cowardly rant.

If igbos are escaping daily, by now igboland should be overgrown by weeds. What a silly cowardly load of crap
listen nigeria is a dynamic society. people have to migrate for economic reasons. its a natural phenom. however within that migratory pattern, it is established that when you have made the money you want to make, each tribe has an ancestral land that they can retire to if they want to be amongst their own people. the anger people have with you is not you migrating. the anger the whole of nigeria have with you igbos is that you are the only tribe who tries to claim other peoples ancestral land as yours. is that not the sign of a greedy demon ?. you migrate to other tribes ancestral lands and say it is no mans land.

My goodness lord, is that the community & the 14 storey complex in the background? If yes & they still regard the community as remote, then rural Igboland has no rival in terms of development in Nigeria! I have visited & passed through rural communities both in the North & West & have seen the stone-age living condition in those places. The average rural community in those places are worse than the most remote parts of SE! People argue that Igbos does not have much resources but they forgot that Nigeria ranks among the highest in the world in terms of remitances after India & China & the bulk of these remitances comes from Igbos abroad such as this man!! Global remitances gives Nigeria tens of billions of dollars annually which is second only to petroleum!!

How I wish many of our Mega-churches can embark on similar thing to ease the burdens of the less privileged. Obviously, our govts have reneged on their responsibilities. It's now populated by self-seeking, wealth-hoarding, egotistical set of pathetic liars.

the igbos do not own the land. do your history. the igbos migrated to that land about two thousand years ago from the israel / iraq region. you are from the north-eastern part of africa. you migrated to west africa when the romans under general vaspaisian and titus took over the world and started kicking your ass because they wanted your land for themselves, then you ran into the interiors of africa and settled in igbo-land. so you are migrants to the land. the land does not belong to you

Everbody migrated from somewhere. Even Oduduwa fell from the sky. undecided

BUt the name 'Umuchukwu' is not bad

No, it's not bad. And majority of the people from the town like the New name.

Communities in different parts of Igboland had changed names. For example, the original name of Awka-Etiti was Awka-Nkakwu( lol) , Abatete was Orokwu( or something like that, I am nolonger sure) Enugwu- Agidi was renamed to Enugu-Agidi from a name I can't remember now.

But in case of Nkerehi, the way the pro Madukaji group who were pushing for the Umuchukwu name change were trying to paint those traditionists in the town that insisted on the old name Nkerehi, as diabolical people who didn't want the progress of the town, left a sour taste in the mouth.

It will be difficult to convince you but I'll try. I know you're one of the many Yorubas who think Igboland starts and finishes with onitsha, Enugu, Owerri and Aba. Do you know there are yorubas doing business in my town? Do you know we have buses going to Lagos everyday from my town? Do you know there are five of the well known banks in my town? Those big houses that many Igbos here display on nairaland, do you think its all made up? Many Igbo people travel to Lagos daily to buy things and still return back to Igboland. Do you think the transport owners go back empty? Oh maybe you're a kid you can't really add one and two.
come on man. enough with this fantasy. yeah there are a few rich people in igbo-land just like everywhere else but the majority are suffering. that is why ipob and nnamdi kanu have mass following. the poor and lost are easily brainwashed. you cannot brainwash a man who is living good. the popularity of nnamdi kanu is testament to the fact thet majority of people in the east are poor and disenfranchised

You're not saying the truth. Among the major tribes in Nigeria, Igbos are more likely to help their brothers, whether directly or indirectly when they attain wealth than people from other tribes. That's why majority of developmental projects in Igbo land were brought about by private individuals rather than the government.
In my village currently, there are several scholarship programmes to help train the indigent up to university level. The main challenge is even in the inability of young people to pass JAMB these days, not in the insufficiency of funds for their training.

It's mainly in the north that you have rich Alhajis who will rather want almajiris that will remain poor and destitute, and be subject to his wishes than send them to school so that they will become financially empowered and independent.
you are lying. your leaders are a symptom of the people. your states are the least developed but your leaders are the richest. orji kalu for example is one of the richest men in the world but abia state is one of the most wretched. so you cannot tell me igbos help their brothers. thats a big lie. in terms of those who are most likely to help their brothers, all tribes in nigeria fail. the point is that THE BLACK MAN as a whole likes to oppress his fellow blacks. it matters not if the black man is igbo or yoruba or hausa. they all have the same traits

This is really a son of the soil. How many Northern elites have done such in their Communities? But they still claim to be the richest and powerful yet their people suffer the most.Where are the greedy and atrocious ALHAJIs,Emirs,Sultans,Generals, etc, this should be a good moral lesson if at all you accept to Learn.

Well said bro. Generally speaking black man is selfish and brainwashed with money mentality. I heard of an igbo man who killed his brother to inherit his business, I heard of yourba brothers back biting each other, etc.

So saying igbo or one tribe is more generous is tale by moonlight.

Anambra state has boundaries with Imo,Abia,Enugu,Kogi and Delta States. Umuchukwu, a town in Anambra state has its boundary with Eziama(Nneato) in Abia State.
