Do you know there are yorubas doing business in my town? Do you know we have buses going to Lagos everyday from my town? Do you know there are five of the well known banks in my town? Those big houses that many Igbos here display on nairaland, do you think its all made up? Many Igbo people travel to Lagos daily to buy things and still return back to Igboland. Do you think the transport owners go back empty? Oh maybe you're a kid you can't really add one and two.

The igbos that could afford to migrate overseas migrated.

The biafra war experience by the older igbos is been passed down to younger igbos and some younger igbos are migrating to avoid such.

From Aguata to afikpo in ebonyi state is not more that an hour journey

Some people( I mean the Pharrohs that held the town down for years) feel intimidated because of his humble background & philantropical nature!.The name of the town was changed by govt/town backed referendum!. You need to know why they have to change the name of their town, it is a long story!

Dr Maduka gave her N100,000.00 for her mom's upkeep.

When he came outside, he saw a woman vomiting due to stomach upset; she received N50,000.00.

There is this joy and a sense of fulfillment we get when we use what we have to help others in our own small ways.

It is unfortunate that many who have find it difficult to give to those who do not have.

One can only ride in one car at a time and sleep on one bed in one room at a time.

When people die, they leave all the wealth and mansions in Europe and America behind. All is vanity.

We need more Dr Madukas around.
