Divorce of the forced marriage called NIGERIA is inevitable. A situation where what is good for the goose is not good for the gander is unacceptable. Can somebody tell me if Rivers State is the only state where manual accreditation was done as a result of card reader failure? Is there a skeleton in the cupboard? I am very much aware that the failure of card readers was a national issue and not a Rivers State issue alone. Can we just peacefully divorce and go back to our respective homes? God save Rivers State.

Whoever wins in the rerun will be victory for democracy,what Nigerians are against is not allowing the vote of the electorate to count. Though it is an exercise that will lead to waste of funds & time on both sides but it is good for our democracy . God bless the judiciary

We still have a long way to go before the possibility of any re-run!! The appeal and supreme courts must affirm the tribunals ruling before any re-run election can be held.

Was predetermined because even the devil could have seen that the election was marred by serious and numerous irregularities.

Now that the garb of immunity is taken off, Wike should explain in details what he did with the N30b he borrowed. EFCC yawning net is set to catch the biggest and the most foolish criminal ever.

As expected the court has ordered for fresh elections. As an ardent follower of south south politics, I can boldly tell you that PDP is firmly rooted in that region, and somehow most of the grassroot people of Rivers tend to see Wike as more of their person than Amaechi. In my opinion, Wike would be re-elected, though with a small margin this time. Dakuku would get most of the Riverine vote, while Wike would get most of the upland (ikwerre) vote, and he's also get some riverine votes. Dakuku has won where he can win ( the tribunal) except APC and Amaechi rig the election, Wike would be re elected.

upland is made up of Ikwere and Etche with only 6 LGAs out of 23. and am Etche/Omuma LGA. I doubt you we are for Dakuku not Wike. in the previous election, APC won in Omuma which is my LGA

The kangaroo tribunal nullified the votes recorded by the incident forms!! Very ridiculous decision in view of the immense failure of the card readers nationwide.It would be very interesting to see what the supreme court would rule on this matter!!! If the incident forms are not taken into consideration then virtually every other election will be nullified.
