OilGas: It is a direct battle between Ruvers indigenes for Dakuku and strangers for Wike. That is if Wike is not arrested for corruption cases he has pending. If PDP wants to get anything in Rivers they should field a Riverine man or Ogoni man. |

The appeal and supreme courts will have to rule first on the matter before the possibility of a re-run is considered.We still have a long way to go before any re-run is held. |

timidot: Even if the supreme court affirms this Judgement arresting Wike would plunge the state and even in the region into crisis while at the same time boosting his popularity!! It would be a very wrong move!! Amaechi has already been indicted by a Judicial commission and yet to be arrested,so what will be the basis for anyone arresting Wike? The Niger delta is quite volatile at the moment,I think the crisis in the NE is enough for the dullard,he would not want to compound his problems. 7 Likes 1 Share |
