Truckpusher: LOL  Sleep on the appeal? Gone are those days Bro. A lot of appeals from the 2015 gubernatorial election has already been decided. This current CJN is really ensuring that cases are not been dragged unnecessarily.If he likes he can sleep while filing the appeal, the judgement will still come at the right time. And by that time, he will have no place to run to, he has to quit the seat. The speaker has to act as the Acting Governor during that period. |

Since when Buhari move the sitting Tribunal to Abuja, I already envisage a political fraud. Is laughable how some gullible one's think Wike is out. First of all, Wike will appeal, the appeal will take years before concluding 2-3years, who knows? ....we told them APC can't win Ekiti, they make noise, Fayose shut the mouth of Buhari 4times. Let it be on record that I think Wike will win the rerun (not because he is a better candidate but has a better political machinery and Rivers electorate are not ideology based) but calling it a sad day for democracy is a statement bereft of intelligence. All elections in Nigeria are rigged but the last Rivers election was rigged beyond acceptable levels. Wike was most likely going to win but he decided to exhibit his federal might with no recourse to decency. Even if all APC supporters in Rivers were allowed to vote three times each, Wike and PDP would still win! Join that with the fact that they have the backing of the federal government, but still went ahead to perform in-your-face kind of election rigging, that even a tribunal under PDP would have a difficult time upholding the election. |

Marvin67:See how time flies. You even know that those that hold power miss use it? Your apprehension now, is Dakuku and Amaechi may rig the election the same way Wike rigged it. I also thank God you made submission that the winning margin would not be too much unlike the one he (Wike) said he won. One thing you refused to know is that, politics is dynamic and not static. Emotional or ethnic politics is far from democracy. The last general elections has changed so many thing in our politics and no one can authoritative say this or that. Well, I am not from Rivers state and would not be voting during the re-run if peradventure the Appeal or Supreme courts didn't say otherwise.
