Hello my good people, Greetings from Canada! Please I need advise from those That used two sponsors in their visa applications. Do you have to merge your sponsors' documents and upload it or you just upload your main sponsor 's documents in the "proof of financial support" column and then, attach your co-sponsor documents to your LOE before uploading it? I need this information to help a very close friend out. Many thanks ! |

So for those PMing me asking about the cost of living in Ottawa, For house rent, keep about $500 per month but if you wanna live close to school, keep about $650-$750 I would actually suggest that two people get a bachelors of about $750 (a self con) and split the bills. The issue is once our Nigerian brothers and sisters get here, everybody be forming I want my privacy even when their pocket is drying up...privacy wey you no get for naija. For food, personally when I was coming, I brought more foodstuff than clothes so I spend less than $50 per week since I cook my food, I dont drink and I dont smoke. Transport was already included in my tuition fee so I get free unlimited access to the bus to go anywhere within Ottawa. The weather condition is but you will survive. The worst is yet to come because it gets to -35 degrees. For those coming to Uottawa, I would advise you dont buy winter jackets, gloves and all that in Naija cos the free store has more than enough plus theres value village which would probably give you at the same price you would have bought in Naija with all those greedy traders that want to milk you dry. You should buy your thermal wear from Naija though (just make sure you price it well because those people! ) This would also save you the excess luggage. I got all my fall jackets and some winter jackets from the free store and saved the money I was gonna use to buy them before. (If you are a rich kid please ignore this part ). You could also get one or two winter jackets cos its gonna be cold when you are onboard the aircraft. I think thats all. Any other question should be on the thread biko unless its really personal so others can benefit. 20 Likes 2 Shares |

Holu26: Baba, let him/her upload just the bank details of both ( SOA sheets and references) in the finance section if they are voluminous. Then attach the sponsorship letter and other business documents plus his/her own supporting docs with the LOE . Note: He/she should dedicate the first page of the LOE to detailing the documents uploaded in each section. That'd be just perfect. Btw, which UofL campus are you @? I'm at the Mains. 1 Like |

CoCoLav: Tips like these are invaluable. I've been wondering where to even get correct winter jackets in Naija since we no get winter. I was already perusing Amazon to buy and ship down spending from the kain low budget. I will be arriving in December (which I heard is the wicked winter period) and with my daughter too(I'm already weeping for the poor girl and the climate shock she'll get). Please who knows where one can get thermal wears around here and will also need one or two winter jackets. Still looking for any female student-parent going to uOttawa to share a cosy apartment with or if you're single and won't mind a toddler's presence we can also share. |

For those of u that needs winter or thick leather jackets, there is a boutique by conoil filling station Yaba, the place is by ur right hand side if u are coming from ojuelegba. Was also lookin for same when I walked in and I saw they hav varieties n sizes. Or you go to jk by ogunlana drive off lawanson road... Its a boutique bt They sells fairly used clothes directly from the uk...pls note this places are in surulere, lagos state. quote author=Khalesi post=39302047] Tips like these are invaluable. berexio1: @berexio1... Thanks for the reply as it was useful... I will sure look into those schools to get a very good knowledge of the whole.. Just that some of them could be annoying like Umanitoba that wouldn't even grant admission for MEng except one gets an academic supervisor. Don't know if you mind I PM you as you can really aid a whole deal! Will be expecting your reply |

kennykolabo: You mustn't do ECG. I don't know how the different consultants decide on what to test for. Here in PHC Prime Consultants didn't conduct any ECG for me. I paid 30k and had xray, physical examinations (height, weight, bp), urinalysis and blood tests ( on the lab request form I was given to pass on to the lab guys I saw HIV, VDRL). That's all! No vision test, no ECG. |
