How about our Igbo people in Obi,Oju, Ado and Okpokwu LGAs of Benue state.

Those ones have no crude oil wealth, so I believe they are still Igbo and have not turned IGBOID yet.

Plans should be made to carry them along. And then Abi LGA of cross river, there is no crude oil there, so I believe they wouldn't have any problem joining their Afikpo kiths.

God bless you! You are just speaking my mind this evening. If Israel could turn their small land mass into a country that can stand by side with America, the greatest country in the world today, Ndi Igbo can certainly exceed all expectations. What haven't they thrown at us in Nigeria? Yet we stand on top of all developmental indices in Nigeria. We eluded their snares in Nigeria, as an independent country with more clout, we will overhaul whatever hurdle Nigerians place before us.

My believe in the " can do" spirit of the Igbo nation is absolute. We are more than capable.

The funny thing is that with all these their gra gra, if tomorrow Buhari announces that Igbo should get their Biafra, they will start fighting tooth and nail to join.
Join in the struggle now, they won't.

I swear to God, I'll take up arms and fight to resist them.

Igbo is the reason Nigeria is one and not Islamic too, they all know that.

Buhari is never going to announce Biafra. He is an emperor, and every emperor wants a bigger empire,It would be naive for anyone to believe that Biafra, even if it's just the 5 SE states will be delivered to us on a platter of gold by any Nigerian leader.

Nigeria currently is one because of crude oil, not Ndiigbo.

As Ndiigbo, all we need is a niche of our own to harness our vast human resources to its fullest.

Kitaa ka I kwulu udi okwu m cholu inu. Let us keep championing the notion that Biafra will be an Igbo only country, at least here on Nairaland. All these insults will automatically cease, and we can begin to focus better on how to make Biafra a first class country without these unnecessary distractions.
The Igbo land I have in mind, includes: the current five eastern states, Anioma and parts of Igbo land carved into Rivers & Benue state respectively. Notice that I did not include Ikwerre and the other Igboid groups who deny us because of 'oyel,' in this new Republic of Igbo land, called Biafra. We can't afford to have 'fake' brothers in our midst, who accept us only when the going is good and reject us like an anathema, the moment we encounter the slightest bit of misfortune.
If Ndi Igbo unanimously tow this line, we will collectively build a country that will be to the envy of our enemies and the admiration of our friends.
Ndi Igbo, we are more than capable. Let's stop belittling ourselves in the eyes of these our unrepentant and ungrateful neighbors bikonu! O gwukwana ka o ra m n'iru.

I totally agree with you.
Igbo only Biafra, every other person should remain Nigerian they want.

I proposed a Biafra made up of former Southern Nigeria Protectorate before 1906 amalgamation and made a map of the country but now I think we don't need others actually.

That Ezeagu map should do. He can reconstruct it and remove Ogba part of it, and then replace it with the Igbo speaking parts of Benue, the Umuezeokoha clan.

I've always been an advocate for Biafra and I've never liked the idea of the Ikwerres and Ikas being allowed in, only the Efiks, Ibibios, Aniomas and other Igbo groups in Benue and Rivers allowed in if they wish to, Ikwerres never. Let them contend with the Kalabari and Ijaws for PH

Heap of bullshit!

Is Biafra going to be a partnership where one party is cheated or a partnership where truth and fairness is enforced? If the former is the case they should fking go to hell.

Portharcourt's original name was Igweocha.
There's Ikwerre part and there's Okrika part and the natives know where the boundaries are.

If Biafra becomes a country, Ikwerre part would be renamed Igweocha if Ikwerres agree or go with Igbo Portharcourt and the other part Ijaw Portharcourt with both sides administered separately by the Igbo Province and the Ijaw Province or by Biafra and by Nigeria depending on how we end up.

This is not unusual. We have Niagara Falls, Canada and Niagara Falls, USA; and Lloydminster, Saskatchewan and Lloydminster, Alberta both in Canada and some other cases where a city is shared by different states/provinces.
Your continues long throat for what is not yours will lead to your downfall. Go figure.....

Lol. You seem a bit irritated and angry. There is no need to be, as a matter of fact, republic of Igboland with SE and Enuani, Oyigbo and Egbema will be just perfect.

Things are always easier when you start from the known to the unknown.

Republic of Igboland is the known, let's start from there.
I wanna quote you because you and some other people always make lots of sense when it comes to this Biafra issue. Are you the same person as Duru1? He makes lots of sense too.. That's btw. I think the only thing that will draw this people closer to Biafra is the draft of Biafran Constitution. I'm not an expert in law but I know we have so many experts in constitutional drafting littered throughout the world. Prof. Ben Nwabueze has helped in drafting constitution of so many African countries.
If we are able draft a constitution that will depicts the equity, fairness and justice which Biafra in anchored on, a constitution that will support resource control of every province, I think it will help as a road map to where we are heading and also will help in mitigating the fears of some of this non-Igbo Niger Deltans. What do you think?

Am in full support of this. Lets do away with those who fill they are too big to join the Biafran movement. I'll honestly prefer an Igbo only Biafra.

This is how other European countries are. You have German only, Italian only, French only etc. and they are all doing very well.

Fucck diversity lets stick only to those that trust us as much as we trust them.

cool Now that these NL Igbos have been humbled by the great people of the Niger-Delta. Now that the people of the Niger-Delta have categorically made it clear to them that they are OYO. Now that they have resigned their pathetic fate to their 5 or so states in their landlocked erosion ridden region. I will stop making fun of them. Trying to convince other tribes to become your tribe or buy into the vision of your tribe and let go of their own vision is the true definition of 'arrogance driven by low-self esteem.' But like the playground bully who, unexpectedly, got punched hard in the face by one of his tiny victims, the NL Igbos are reeling from the shock. The people of Niger-Delta have dealt a blow to their collective psyche and they have no one to blame but themselves. What did they expect? That these tribes, with their own unique history, culture and vision should just subjugate their destiny under the 'Ojukwoid' vision of the majority Igbos? How could they (NL Igbos) be so out of touch with reality? How can they not see what was so obvious to the most inattentive of culture student - which is that NOBODY trust the Igbos. A tribe KNOWN all over for its shameless greed and a TOTAL lack of self-awareness/an inability to respect the wishes of those who do not share their vision. However, now that they have received a proverbial 'slap in the face from a junior' one would expect that these agitators will now learn from this experience and stop claiming things that don't belong to them.

I remember the first time I heard Nnamdi Kanu declaring Itshekiris and Igallas part of Biafra. I was convinced that Kanu was either under the influence of Osogbo weed or just having a comedic moment. But then I realized later that he truly believes this crap and he is supposed to be 'Moses' for his people. According to the 'good' book, 'God' is not the author of confusion - therefore, someone whose brain cannot identify such obvious fallacy is not of 'God.' The Igbos should go. Nigeria would be a much better place without them. The remain the MOST tribalistic and vindictive group of people on this geographical entity. They are patently incapable of forging a robust and mutually respectful multi-ethnic zeitgeist. And until we rid this country of them, they remain a potential trojan horse to our mutual co-existence and progress.

'God' bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Recently Tonyebarcanista and Truckpusher expressed their displeasure over the case of IPOB protest in PH

They are angry and afraid that we renamed PH Igweocha in order to claim it

PH is a city the Ikwerres Ijaws and Ogonis have laid claim to. It is also one of the reasons Saro Wiwa and Isaac Boro betrayed Biafra

My fellow Biafrans, if the price we must pay to get the support of the Riverine people is to allow them take full ownership of PH even if they plan to make it a city in Nigerdelta Republic, so be it.

We can build better cities that can never be rival by PH and it is absolute stupidddd to allow a piece of land stop our match to freedom the way Ojukwu allowed his fears of neocolonialism stopped him from exchanging oil for weapons with the Russians

Finally as a true Biafran representing Ojukwu's elite force, I hereby ask Nnamdi Kanu to forfeit PH for Biafra's sake

A piece of land must never divide us at this point in it

God bless Biafrans

Good night dear Biafrans cool

Our submission was simple , do not refer to any part of the Niger Delta as Igbo land and we are good to go but any attempt to disregard this simple genuine request will not be treated lightly and this is where we stand.
Let me reiterate here that I do not hate the Igbos, we've come a long way, we are neighbors , we are brothers, they have helped me and I have also helped them , I have lived among them, they are my neigbors, my colleagues, my friends , my inlaws,my business partners, my girlfriends grin and they have a place in my heart anytime but any attempt to touch my identity would be rejected outrightly and it would be considered as an ultimate insult.
We can work together as one undivided entity with a different identity and I hope the message is loud and clear.
Thank you.

There are no Igbos in SS and this is what I'm talking about.

We are a distinct group that share some cultural attributes with the Igbos and that doesn't make us Igbos and this is the crux of the matter.
