We did not turn out well at all. You can see it in our everyday lives, that is why we cannot tackle issues effectively; why husbands will continue to beat their wives (thanks to their parents and the younger sisters), why wives would not mind being slapped (parents and elder brothers); why we always achieving things with undue aggression; cultism; work environment and marketplace.

It is not Oyinbo mentality. If that were true we would have been far better than them in values and achievements. I have babysat Oyinbo kids with no problem although it proved difficult at first but it became easier when I used my brain. They do not fear me. They listen to me and they respect me. I can judge based on my experience with kids. You are probably not willing to learn or dedicate yourself to bringing up kids without touching them.

I actually mentioned that some kids might need ‘spanking' every now and then.

It is possible that in Nigeria teachers can't read or write properly so I wouldn't be surprised.
