The father of the Ooni of Ife-elect, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Prince Oluropo Ogunwusi has said the greatness of his son was predicted before his birth. The Ogunwusi patriarch made this known in an interview with journalists at his residence in Ile-Ife. In his words, Prince Ogunwusi said, “He is now my father. His appointment as the Ooni of Ife is the Lord’s doing and it is marvellous in our sight. Before the birth of this our father, we were told by a man of God that he would be great and would be blessed with rare gifts.
