nasoeb: Brother thats the truth....why do you think average Igbo man dont reverence the Rulers (king) as all and all, and shout "kabiyesi"....we say "Igbo enwegi Eze"....meaning every man is a king in his house. we are naturally "DEMOCRATIC"...make ur research, NO FAMILY can come out and say we are the one the must be ruling others... a poor unknown man can be a King tomorrow just like the Joseph of the Bible |

mrvitalis:Biafra is an Igbo affair with the way the Izons likened it to be. So stick to all Igbo subgroups (SE,SS,NC) and other willing groups that may join voluntarily (with laid down agreement) and cemented through a referendum. If you stay on this track there are higher chances of achieving Biafra. 1 Like |

mrvitalis:To achieve your dream Biafra you guys should focus only on Igboland (SE,SS,NC). Strengthen these areas first, and stop chasing after shadows. The more you keep including those recalcitrant and unwilling minorities into the picture, the more you make Biafra a charade. It is after when you've cemented the Biafran ideals in the mind of all Igboid subgroups, gotten their approval and gone a step closer to a UN sponsored referendum(like the Scottish) that you can decide to include willing minorities with a laid down agreement into the fold. Now listen carefully, what you want is not what other minorities may want. For instance, the Ijaws and Edos have an underlying agenda towards their own pursuit. The Edos and Ijaws on one hand are expansionist and intend adding up the Igbo speaking areas of the South-South into their lorded Niger-Delta republic. Beware of these so-called minorities who would go to an extent with their divide and rule tactics cause mistrust in the mind of the undecided S/S Igboid groups into allowing us leave them to be carved into perpetual bondage. Their intention is different from the intention of the Ibibio/Efik/Ananng/Oron/Ogoja/Ogoni who only seek a level playing republic their interest is protected, where they will have semi-autonous regions, where there won't be superior and an inferior and a country where they are allowed to climb unhindered into the highest echelon of society. These are folks you should consider into your new country. 1 Like |

mrvitalis: Lol. The Ijaws can stay in Nigeria and keep begging for 13%. I don't think any of the minorities realise that only the Igbos are strong enough to 'muscle' their way out of Nigeria. |
