Seems you didn't read my post well. Simple server works without root. Autoproxy don't work. But there is an alternative in proxydroid and psiphone. You can use those instead.

Pie is just a zip file that can be flashed by recovery so that Autoproxy can work well. But since this don't have a root exploit and their is no recovery for it yet. Then you can use proxydroid or psiphone instead of Autoproxy

Lolz, there is no 3gb edition of m5 anywhere. Only 2gb version... Don't even anticipate it. Gionee is not tecno that makes only minute upgrade to a device..

And if you have a root exploit for m3mini, why didn't you drop it. Yes, there is no standard root exploit for 5.1 unless you create a custom recovery, flash it with sp flash tools and flash su.zip. And as for now, there is no custom recovery for this yet, maybe can help create one like he did for m2mini. Ordinarily, kingroot v4.5 and below won't root this not to talk of others. Only one that guys are anticipating that can root it is v4.6 which is still in its beta mode. Is that goofing??

I think I've clarified you on that now. About the 3gb version, I've not seen one and I've not seen any link to it that's why I said that. Thanks for the link though.

Lolz, chill.... It's not but you know there is no root exploit for it yet.. I know you are not a noob in this. And the only way for now that I can think of is creating a custom recovery. Trwp to be precise so we can flash via sp flash tools, then flash su.zip via Trwp and voila, our phone will be rooted. Aside that, I don't have any other way. I would have tried creating one but I borrowed someone my PC. Mayb someone else can help. Other 5.1 devices are easy to root. One difficult issue we have in this is coz there is no development for the phone yet, no firmware. But it's gionee, there will be.

And tp those that asked if m3mini can play heavy HD games, yes it can. I just played NBA 2K16 and Dungeon Hunters 5 which didn't play on my real m3 before now.
