He will be compensated with an ACKNOWLEDGEMENT (maybe even letter) by the zoo management and the increased number of visitors to the zoo (presumably in his area) due to his DONATION of this animal and others following his good example, will lead to better business and wages for him. That way he is compensated indirectly for much longer!

Ibadan zoo is an option, i don't know how good deir zoological garden at unilag is. Consider that also

Fine animal. I guess it's still suckling. Just as others have said, I suggest you take it back where you caught it, observe at a distance till the mother comes around to pick it. If you just drop it and leave I think another animal might eat it.

get a packet of 'Lahda' milk..get a feeding bottle and the little deer is good to go..you can afford a phone and Internet subscription, surely you can afford those.

It needs motherscmilk or it will die. Look for a mother goat. It can give it some milk.

Very hard to rear in captivity without adequate expertise. He should have left it alone to find it's mum where it was. Hand it over to a zoo or a wide life park.

at times dont kill some animals, am an old man and i am a witness to what ill luck it has brought to some people. that harmless animal should be returned to the wild or take it to a zoo as you suggested. ask some elderly people in your area about the curse on the family of butchers

Take it to GEJ atleast he get PHD in zoology

Feed him with milk daily. U can make pap and mix with milk to save cash. Use feeding bottle

He can't eat it.....its too small, e never mature...

What you need is a feeding bottle...and a baby food or goat milk. Na serious work you gats do..

By the way, do you live in a forest?

Don't return it to the farm as some people suggested. If you do, someone else might catch it and kill/eat it, or some wild animal might do the same.

You can take it to a zoo or you can keep it.
Give it goat milk (direct sucking or bottle) and when it's older grass will do.

Right now keep it warm and give it milk. Otherwise it might die from cold or hunger.
