perform a factory reset if you haven't. if that doesn't solve it, you might be needing to flash a stock Rom

To flash with SP FLASH TOOL without losing data, make sure you tick only the following
UBOOT
BOOTIMG
RECOVERY
SEC_RO
LOGO
ANDROID
Make sure every other box is deselected, then flash. You will be upgraded and you get to keep your data.
*note ; the moment u deselect some boxes, "firmware upgrade" will change to "download". Leave it like that, that's how it must be.

fixed it myself. after several hours of charging and flashing with sp flash tool. I know going to Carlcare is the smoothest option but as a geek I was able to fix it. Thanks.

Pls people which version of the lollipop is on infinix website and is the lollipop overall performance stable and ohk now or I should stay with my KitKat jeejee

I've got a lollipop ROM for x551 but the issue is spflash is not flashing the ROM. i.e the system detected my device as x507, but I now loaded d new ROM's scatter file but d progress bar is not moving to indicate that its flashing.

I really could do with some help in here. . My kid sister's infinix note seems to have some malware and adware issues. . Her device kips getting some annoying pop ups saying either AndroidPatcher, measure and one security plugin has stopped working. . I've tried to uninstall and disable dem but dey kip reappearing again and again. Any suggestions or ideas on what's wrong?

Where did it appear on the system that it's X507? Which window are you using? Do you have infinx flash tool?

(1) its d pop up on system wheneva u connect a USB cable (installing device driver.... installation successful...) (2) its windows 7 64bits (3) I hv sp flash tool. is it diff from infinix flash tool?
