Take back which seat, probably after the Re run though as the re run is a must having being upheld and not squashed by the Supreme Court. Wike should win the Re run in a free and fair contest with all things being equal but I just wonder why they(PDP) forced their way through in the last one despite it was clear they would win. While upholding the decision of the tribunal yesterday, the appeal court held that paragraphs of the petition containing allegations of electoral crime against named and unnamed security agents and alleged political thugs should be expunged from the record of the tribunal.

That's the crux of the ruling.

For those that said its only scan news that have carried it, I'm sure if you watched AIT network news yesterday, you would have not only heard it but also seen it. Now this is a big game changer for the whole court process against wike. Especially goven the fact that the supreme court yesterday said they can't cancell election because of card reader, and the verdict of the Appeal court in Lagos state. To me, its a game over for APC in Rivers State.

It's obvious from this that wike will win this appeal
The tribunal nullified the election on two grounds:
1. The non use of card readers
2. The election was marred by violence by security operatives and thugs

On ground one, the Supreme Court yesterday in Okorochas case stated that card readers are allien and it not being used would not invalidate an election.
On ground two, the court of Appeal has just expunged all records and evidences against the alleged violence by security operatives and thugs.
Therefore the petition by apc and dakuku lacks merit. And the judgement by the tribunal will be set aside.
Who's up for a bet?

Go through the national dailies including Vanguard u will see the news there. However, is the appeal court judgement in favour of WIKE will be enough to upturn the the tribunal judgement? Time shall tell. Expecting some fireworks at the appeal court and possibly supreme court.
