That's true, but is he ready? Well he haas got his chance, for at least 3 matches he should be able to convince AW to consider him subsequently. I wonder why players don't take their chances, if na me eh...

Keep telling urself this if it makes u sleep at night. Fact remains u got beat. How is it any different from us losing to MK Dons last season?? A defeat is a defeat.

If u call Romero, Wilson, Depay, Perreira, Lingard first team, then u're duller than i thought!

How many match has Ox played self that he is injured ?....I wont feel the impact anyway. The guy is to childish. We could try belerin on the right wing while debuchy plays right back.

Ox,ramsey and walcot all out, one of iwobi and campbell should maximise the open door for themselves and show what they can do just like coq did last season

Its a big opportunity for joel especially. He should seize it with both hands and repay wengers faith in him and spare wenger from more attacks .

I remember we fans using the same line of do a bellerin and coquelin for ox when ramsey got injured, cheesy what if another injury hit us nko?
we need luck on the injury side else our season might go down so quick.

Le Coq's rise is phenomenal, it happens only when there is a twilight... cheesy

Iwobi over Campbell. Debuchy should be nowhere near the first team till further notice. Push Ozil to the right, cazorla in the middle then Coq the Boss and Flamini can hold the midfield

Anyone who followed Coq's career would not have been really surprised at his current form. He has always shown his talent (except when he was in Germany when his form dipped). Bellerin also showed form on loan at Watford although my grouse with him then was his constant bombing forward hence leaving his position prone to counters. It's probably why Ramsey complements him well at Arsenal.

Joel also showed good form whilst on loan in Greece and Spain. Though not a constant name in the first team especially in Spain, whenever he played, he did well. My worry now is the fact that he hasn't had enough games in the premier league. What I know about him though is that he is a workaholic and very good defensively so I have no worry he can complement Bellerin like Ramsey. I believe if he stays disciplined for 90 minutes, we shouldn't have a problem against Montero/Swansea.

Good thing is that Joel can also play up front so I suspect we will see him play instead of Giroud in some games depending on length of injuries to Theo and The Ox

I personally don't think Iwobi is ready. He's only starting to edge the academy team.

bro that iwobi doesnt seem ready for a big stage football atall, campbell has world cup,U C L experience,he only needs a run of games with the seniour players and he ill flourish,Ozil to the wing will be so innefective as he and giroud ill slow down our attack, both hardly shoot on goal..and as for debauchy,do not forget he was a starter in the national team at world cup ahead of sagna, injuries plagued him and he looks rusty on bench,a run of games ill bring hik back.he is better defensively than bellerin on his day.

My brother and fellow gunner..

Na God I take beg you, no plough this team back to Egypt with this your "Ozil to the wing" suggestion, such move is inimical to our success offensively and alters the balance, mobility of this team.

Aburo, even if it means pushing Per Metersacker to run his sock off on the right wing spotting a number 7 jersey and Ozil maintains his AMF role I don't care.

I am hoping Wenger has not read this your suggestion..

@Fkhalifa I dont quite agree with your last statement, debuchy is good no doubt but even at his best days he is not better than belerin. on what basis if I may ask, is it crosses? or the number of clear chances they create?

He's not going to predominantly stay there.

Arsene said he's choosing between Iwobi and Campbell already so my point is off. grin

I meant an in form debuchy is better defensively than bellerin, if you check he and sagna's stat before we signed him up, he edged sagna on most cases, be it aireal duels won, physical battles and many orthers but bellerin suit us more because he is good when going forward and has the pace to track back so quick..buh condemning debauchy to me is unfair on the lad.

Ok, I agree ....but am not condemning him, anyway bellerin is miles ahead of him as of now.

Bellerin's performance now is better than what Debuchy gave us even when he was on form, besides that Bellerin is improving with every game that alone tells you why Debuchy cannot catch up.
He has got pace, awareness, dribbling, crosses, etc I mean this guy is the best chance creator in Europe- don't laugh its not a joke...

Haa! You may have, but just as Ramsey, few people gave Le Coq a chance to return to Arsenal after Charlton, no not even Wenger.

It was his performance on loan that first stanza of the season and the fact that injuries had ravaged the team that he was recalled by AW, if not this story would never be told.

errr... He had mad reviews at Charlton... the fans there loved him...

Anyways... Dan Crowley has been recalled from Barnsley... Would he play today...?! I don't know... Would he do a Le Coq...?! I don't know either... all I know is... he's been recalled from his loan stint at Barnsley... just so you know... The fans at Barnsley are gutted that he's coming back to the Arsenal...

Yes, it contributed to Wenger recalling him. But that wouldn't have been enough had we not had injury crisis. The reason I love him is because he saw his chance and took it with both hands and feet.
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by proudlysports: 12:34pm On Oct 31, 2015
Crowley was recalled during the week. A newspaper (you all probably know which) initially ran that Crowley was sent back by Barnsley but Barnsley coach was quick to clarify that Arsenal recalled him.

Crowley like Iwobi is also not ready IMO. I'm sure we recalled him to fill our quota of players due to amount of injuries we currently have. Asides that, Crowley's best position is central midfield and we currently have problems with the right. We may see him on the bench but I very much doubt he will play any game barring any catastrophic injury problems. In fact, AW will play Flamini on the right before thinking of Crowley.

BTW, I'm sure Crowley will go back on loan in a few weeks/months when things improve on the injury front.

I must say though, every time I watch Crowley, he reminds me of Rosicky.

His best loan spell was probably at Charlton but I want to agree with your second paragraph. Despite his rave reviews at Charlton, I doubt if AW would have thrust him into the first team if we didn't have injury issues. Arsene was just too much in love with Arteta at that time. Coupled with the fact that Coquelin also wanted regular playing time, I reckon he would have moved to another club and maybe we would be ruing what could have been now. But thank God it didn't happen that way. grin grin grin

He took it because he was ready. Many of our youngsters today are not ready. The ones close to being ready (MAYBE Akpom and MAYBE Zelalem) are still on loan and even for those two, it's a big MAYBE.

Interestingly, one player I reckon might just do a Coquelin for us if AW recalls him is Maitland Niles. He's consistently played on the eight at Ipswitch and done very well in a few games I've seen. Though he's just 18, he's the closest to solving our problems IMO if we're looking at the academy boys
