explorer250: Theres nothing new here..if im in PH and i received a call from home and was asked where i was, my reply (and also the reply of every Ikwerre) in Ikwerre language would be " n'zim nu Iguocha" translates as I'm in Port Harcourt.. Its very normal..no fuss at all. |

HopeAtHand:I think it will be advisable for all ikwerres to completely dissociate themselves from the igbos by creating a unique "ikwerre" language and changing their names, surnames and towns to be as different as possible from igbo. The rest of nigeria is laughing at your stupidity, you people are having confused descendants who dont know who they are.i went to ikwerre once and i dont ever intend going back again, not even for my friends burial. You people hate yourselfs,Your descendants will claim to be fulani in the nearest future |

HopeAtHand:i have been observing you for a long time, whenever an igbo talks about the ikwerres or calls them igbo you usually foams from the mouth, why can't you mind your business and leave the igbos alone then focus on your ikwerre kinsmen, you have said it time without numbers that the ikwerres has nothing in common with the igbos and we have agreed to that, why can't you leave us alone mr hopeathand? 1 Like |

HopeAtHand:Shut up you lying deranged pig! This shows you don't know your history no wonder you ve been making jest of your miserable self since on NL. You said the british changed your name to Ikwerre, can you tell us how that happened? Is the word Ikwerre an English name? Ok, let's just imagine the british changed your name (which is a lie anyway) why did you people sheepishly adopted the name? What is the meaning of Ikwerre? 1 Like |

HopeAtHand:You are indeed a demented bush pig the way I expected. The name is IGWEOCHA not Iguocha stop twisting your history and stop running away from your heritage just to make hausa and yoruba happy. ekenedegreat: Ekene, go and learn to respect..My people call it Iguocha, that is my language, my identity, learn to respect. We cannot all be Igbo or Yoruba or Hausa..remember you did not choose your tribe but found out who you are, so did others..learn to respect peoples decisions especially the ones you can do nothing about..my two cents. |

HopeAtHand: Ikweres call it 'Igu-Ocha', most Igbos call it 'Igwe-Ocha' while some historical text such as Wikipedia call it 'Ugwu-Ocha'. A non Igbo is not likely to notice any difference in these three words if said by an Ikwere or Igbo person. However, it is the land of the Ikwere people and it was originally called "Igu-Ocha" |

HopeAtHand:I should learn to respect what? Do you expect me to respect the way you twist history or the way you lie which one do you what me to respect? I know about some Ikwerres that are proud of their Igbo heritage so, I don't understand what you are saying. Maybe, you are not from Ikwerre as you made us to believe. 1 Like |

biafranking:dont be fooled my dear. Go to Enugu, you'll see northerners who know how to speak not only central Igbo but undilluted wawa dialect. They know Enugu pple call anambra agbenu while Anambra call them wawa. It is just a matter of being born in a city and growing up there. You will understand their local politics, tradition, history, sentiment and sensibilities. Now it wouldn't be hard using these advantages to advance your tribal interest in a faceless forum, especially when you know most igbos are angry at ikwerres. |

HopeAtHand: For the above idiotic fantasy to appear in reality, Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba should be independent entities or nations. It is apparent idiocy to waste forum's bandwidth with British contraption called Nigeria that defies any form of logic. It is a moronic endeavor to house meat eaters in the place with grass eaters yet decreed that the meat eaters should not even look the way of the grass eaters. |

tonytony208:Really! here is what actually happened. The sheep and goat teamed up to fight the tiger but didn't succeed so they approached a woman(Britain) for help, the woman came teamed up with the sheep and goat but still couldn't defeat the tiger so she had no choice but to become a harlot and seduced some men (Russia, US, et al) who all got involved and subsequently captured the tiger.
