whether niger delta or southern republic, we dont want a biafra

There are no "we", what exists is Edoids people republic.

Niger delta or SS is an Ijaw republic.

Be proud of your Edoids nation for once, and stop attaching to unrelated ethnic groups Edoids don't even share boundaries with.
Once again:

Niger Delta is an Ijaw republic, even the Ogonis know that.http://saharareporters.com/2012/08/02/ogoni-declares-self-government

Nigerdelta is another name for Ijaw republic. The first Niger delta republic was an Ijaw only one:

Edoids should show stop disgracing themselves, even small Ogonis is not shouting Niger delta like Edoids because they know that Niger delta republic is an Ijaw one.

So why exactly are Edoids clinging so tight to an Ijaw republic, are they parasitic or what? Or is this pure display of imbecilic tendency from Edoids?

What would happen if they show some dignity and start campaigning for the Edoids people republic? Will they die?

I pray that they discover a huge oil deposits in the North especially in Chad basin and Bauchi basin so that the north will have the confidence to leave the Biafrans to go or let the oil wells just dry up or let this oil prices that is crashing continue to the extent that they will be selling 1 barrel of oil for 5 dollars.
The Igbos is only people that can survive without oil in Nigeria. They are technically sound, Some European countries like Estonia, Czech republic, Luxembourg are landlocked, has no oil but you cannot compare them with Nigeria because they are very good is silicon technology. Igbos can achieve the same if you look at what is going on in Aba and Nnewi in Anambra state. Is only Hausa/Fulani and Yorubas is seeing it that without oil they will all die because they are non productive.

Why am I not surprised, the documented igbo hater, systematically removed the igbo groups who are arguably the largest group in the region.

Be rest assured I will be here to remind everyone who you are with these screenshot of your utterance against the igbos.

To my beloveth igbo people devlishily carved into that region by the wicked contraption Nigeria, I urge you all to remain strong as we work together to win this identity war waged on you by dubious characters.
Apparently this tactics was deployed on our ikwerres brother before we could realize it.

If you are igbo or any other tribe from that region buying this crap this fraud is sellling, I think the picture is clear here. If this imbe.cile can authoritatively down play your presence in that region with impunity, imagine ur place in his ijaw masqueraded republic.

TonyeBarcanista:
The South-South or "Niger Delta" is the region that is rich in mineral and human resources. It is the most misunderstood region that has experienced the worst form of marginalisation within the Nigeria State and suffered environmental pollution. It consists of over 40 ethnic groups which include; Bini, Efik, Urhobo, Ogoni, Ijaw etc within the six states that makes up the region (Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross river states).

Who Should Speak For The Niger-Delta
I want to state that no single ethnic group within or outside the region has the authority to speak on behalf of the entire region. However, people of the region have co-existed for centuries, some ethnic groups even trace their ancestry to common 'ancestor'. As a proud Nigerian from the Niger Delta extraction, I considered it wise to bring to the fore the demands of ethnic nationalities with respect to their respective declarations and bill of rights.

WHAT NIGER-DELTANS WANT:
1. Autonomy/Resource Control:

This is the Demand-in-Chief of all ethnic nationalities in the region within the Nigeria state. Ogoni nation in paragraph 20 of Ogoni Bill of Right(1991) demand for control of resources within Ogoni land. Similarly, paragraphs 3 of Urhobo Declaration(1998), 10 of Ijaw/Kaiama Declaration (1998), 4 of Ikwere Rescue Charter(1999), 5 of Oron Bill of Right (1999) and 53 of Itsekiri Memorandum(2012) all call for Regional Autonomy and control of resources that lies within their respective lands, while paying an agreed percentage to the Federal/Central Government.

2. Abolishment of Land Use Act(1978) and Other Laws:
All ethnic nationalities within the Niger-Delta were unanimous in their demand for the abolishment of Petroleum Act of 1969 and 1991, the National Waterways Decree of 1977, the Land Use Act of 1978 and 1993, and Supreme Court ruling of April 5, 2002. This demand is found in the declarations/bill of rights of each ethnic groups.

3. Cooperation Among Ethnic Nations:
Ethnic nations within the Niger-Delta are peaceful and law abiding people. Despite difference in tribes and tongues, the pledge for peaceful cohabitation with other groups within and outside the region is one that is held so dear. A look at the declaration/bill of rights by all ethnic groups will give a picture that all nationalities are in solidarity and pledges to work with each other. Ikwerre people expressed solidarity with "all oppressed peoples in Nigeria in their just struggle for justice and equity." Similarly, Urhobo call for "full cooperation not conflict among nationalities". Ijaws in their declaration offer a hand of friendship and comradeship to the Itsekiri, Ilaje, Urhobo, Isoko, Edo, Ibibio, Ogoni, Ekpeye, Ikwerre etc. They also affirm commitment to joint struggle with the other ethnic nationalities in the Niger delta area for self-determination and expressed "solidarity with all peoples, organisations and ethnic nationalities in Nigeria and elsewhere who are struggling for self-determination and justice"

4. Niger-Deltans Not In Conflict:
Make no mistake, ethnic nations within Niger-Delta are not in conflict. Ethnic nationalities within the Niger Delta have realised that the present structure in Nigeria and the multi-national companies are responsible for setting ethnic nations against each other. In Warri for instance, the Ijaws, Urhobos and Itsekiri have lived together since the 15th century without rancour or war. But in 1997, Abacha relocated the Hq of Warri South-West LG from Ogbe-Ijaw(in Ijaw area) to Ogidigben (Itsekiri area). This singular action precipitated riots and then ethnic war between the two groups. In a situation of fiscal federalism/autonomy, such wouldn't have even been. The People Are Wise! On September 29 2014, the Ijaw Youth Council and Ikwerre Youth Council vowed to work together because the two ethnic groups have "common destiny". They realised the scheme of oil firms to exploit their lands while setting them against each other. www.thetidenewsonline.com/2014/09/29/ijaw-ikwerre-youth-unite-against-oil-firms/

All through the Midwest/Bendel/Benin Empire, the ethnic nations never went to war against each other. Today, God in His divine Wisdom has brought these people of the SIX states together. The unity and bond is stronge than ever.

5. Niger-Delta Is Not Hating On Anybody:
In the declarations of the various ethnic nationalities within the Niger-Delta, no mention of hate against any group was made. The oppressor is the Nigeria system and multinational companies and NOT the tribe of office holders. Hence, the call for the convocation of Soveriegn National Conference. This position I believe is shared by other groups as testified in the respective declarations. Niger-Deltans may be dissatisfied with the present structure of Nigeria(like everyone else) but they DON'T hate Nigeria. They only want it restructured for the good of all.

6. Niger Delta "Is" A Majority Group:
By the grace of God, the unity of the Niger-Delta has made the people a collective majority group in Nigeria despite the minority status/population of the respective ethnic nations that make up the region. The people of Niger-Delta are equal in unity whether Efik, Ika, Itsekiri, Ibibio, Ekpeye, Ikwerre, Bini, Esan, Ogoni, Ijaw etc. Despite the unity, they recognise and respect respective ethnic distinctiveness. The resolve to see to the actualisation of the noble demands within the Nigeria State is unshakable. By the Grace of God, the demand for restructuring shall come to fruition for the benefit of all Niger-Deltans and the Nigeria State.

May God Bless Niger-Delta

Let every state develop at its own pace. No inch of SS or Niger Delta territory will be given to these jokers to form their joke of a country called biafra. avouritism Of Ijaws By Jonathan
NigerianNation 08/05/2015 General News

A socio-political group in the South-South, Ekpeye Youth Congress (EYC), has dismissed claims in some quarters that the immediate past president, Goodluck Jonathan empowered the people of the region.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan

The group made this known in a statement jointly signed by its president-general and acting secretary, Emenike Uriah Musa and Anthony Onyemachi. The group dismissed the purported assertion made by Senator Shehu Sani, that the people of the Niger Delta were the major beneficiaries of Jonathan’s administration.

According to Daily Trust the group said that the Ijaws were the main beneficiaries of the appointments and programmes carried out throughout the period Jonathan served as president.

The group said: “The attention of the Ekpeye Youth Congress (EYC) World-Wide has been drawn to the vituperations of one Mallam Shehu Sani, Senator Representing Kaduna North Senatorial District in the print media, to the effect that the people of Niger Delta are the only ones who benefited in political appointments and infrastructural development in the former President Goodluck Jonathan Administration, and that the North and South West did not benefit.”

The group added that apart from the Ijaws, other major ethnic groups like the Urhobos, Ibibios, Anangs, Ogonis, Efiks, Ikwerres, Etches, Ekpeyes, Ndokwas,Ogojas, Ogbas as well as Binis, while others were left out.

“The beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme were 90% of Ijaw extraction,” the group said.

Don't mind them, let them keep hallucinating.
Ndiigbo had to break Awo hands and dissolve Western region for the sake of our Anioma brothers trapped in the Western region in 1939 by Bernard Bourdillion, by spending millions to ensure the creation of Midwestern region and empowering Osadebey to take charge there.

We broke Ijaws hand to separate them from our brothers who naively and willingly played into Ijaw hands by getting trapped in the old Rivers state. We had to force Ijaws into Bayelsa and turn them to minorities in Rivers to allow the Igboids take control of the New state.

We have fried bigger fishes than the current Ijaw agenda.

We don't give a f.uck about the Edoids( Edo (without Igbanke and other Igbo towns there) Urhobo, Isoko, Itsekiri).

They can join Ijaw or go to h.ell, we don't care.

But Igbo groups in the current SS, they can't take with them.

And resource control I fully support...its the way forward for a country like nigeria that is laden with so much natural resources...

Its obvious that the Ijaws are not power seeking, domineering, manipulative people. Every right thinking Niger Deltan would rather be in a Niger Deltan republic than in a Biafra
The Ijaws have no business to be domineering nor manipulating. Our position(as seen in our declaration) is Live and Let live.

ALTHOUGH there were varied positions on the matter, in the end the General Sani Abacha administration created Bayelsa out of Rivers State in 1996”
The circumstances behind my joining a delegation for the burial of His Royal Majesty, Sunday Nnanta Woluchem, the Epara Rebisi XI of Port Harcourt on Saturday, April 21, 2012 is encapsulated in the above quote taken from his burial programme.
As the author of his yet to be published biography, former Chief of General Staff, retired Commodore Okoh Ebitu Ukiwe, asked me to join his delegation to bury a royal father who, along with Ukiwe and others, played leading roles in the creation of today’s Rivers and Bayelsa states between 1993 and 1996.
When the civil war started in 1967 and Biafra lost control of Port Harcourt to the Federal forces, the newly created Rivers State was handed over to the Ijaw. Ijaw leaders continued to maintain that Rivers State, with Port Harcourt as its capital, was created for them as reward for ceding their coastal terrain to the Federal side, thus making the sea blockade of Biafra possible. The Ijaw groups claimed to constitute the majority and continued to dominate the state both during military and civilian dispensations. With time, however, the Igbo speaking people of the state, particularly the Ikwerre nationality, decided they wanted a state of their own where they would be able to assert their own political and economic interests.
This was what led to the quest for the creation of Port Harcourt State. However, the Ijaws felt if such a state was created they would become estranged in a city they have been part and parcel of since it was founded by the colonialists. In fact, they had even started portraying Port Harcourt as the capital of a future Ijaw state. Thus was born a great rivalry between the Ijaw-speaking and Igbo-speaking groups for the control of Rivers and between what was termed the “Okrika-Ijaw” and “Ikwerre-Igbo” over the “ownership” of Port Harcourt. The gruesome murder of Dr Obi Wali, the leader of the Ikwerre political front by yet-to-be ascertained assassins in 1992, owed to this tussle, which often led to street battles between Okrikans and Ikwerres.
Meanwhile, the late father of Nigeria’s nationalism, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, had discussed the best strategies for reducing the animosity between the Igbos and their Minority neighbours as well as dousing the ethnic tension between Ikwerres and their riverine co-indigenes of Rivers State. It was agreed that as the touted largest Minority group, the Ijaw needed a state of their own. But with their emotional attachment to Port Harcourt, how would Rivers State be split without creating a permanent ethnic war front in Nigeria’s premier oil city?
With the Ijaw groups obviously being favoured by the Northern-led Federal Government, Eze Woluchem, a lawyer who was installed paramount ruler of Port Harcourt in 1977 turned to Dr Azikiwe, appealing for him to support the aspirations of his Igbo kinsmen in the struggle. An ageing “Zik” referred the Eze’s delegation to Commodore Ukiwe, who had become Zik’s close political confidant. The Eze’s delegation of four, which included the late Chief Okogbule Wonodi and Chief Andrew Uchendu, met with Ukiwe in his office in Victoria Island.
Their proposal was that Port Harcourt State should only be for Igbo-speaking Rivers people, while the Ijaw-speaking part would be named New Rivers State. On the other hand, the Kalabaris did not want to be parted with Rivers State, neither did the Okrikas, and Ukiwe advised that it would be “unstrategic” to cut out Bonny, Opobo, Kalabari and Okrika, apart from the fact that the Head of State, General Abacha, who was pro-Ijaw, might be pushed not to create any new state at all.
Between Ukiwe and the Ikwerre delegation, and taking into account the expressed needs of others, the maps of the present Rivers State and Bayelsa State were drawn and presented to Abacha, who found it acceptab
