HID Awolowo was never in the employ of the Nigerian people as a minister and a Senate member. He is also not obliged to visit her since he never had any personal relationship with her to speak of. An official letter of condolences has been sent to the family and that should suffice.

Same can be said of the Ooni burial was avoided like a plague by most of APC, the VP who is an in-law to HID Awolowo is present to do a good job of executive representation.

You don't have to be a minister of the federal republic to be iconic, Awolowo was the last true leader of the Yorubas, he's wife deserved much more respect from Bubu's govt.

Obasanjo and Dr Jonathan all visited the family except Bubu.

The late Emir of Borgu was both a religious and political leader. HID Awolowo was neither of the two. Can you kill someone in your family and lets see if Buari will come and pay you a condolence visit?

If anyone has been used and dumped, I think it is the South-East that Jonascam used and dumped, no 2nd Niger Bridge, not good road, petrol sells in South-East at least 20% above South-West price.
