My breastmilk is nt coming thru and am afraid it might cease up which made me to order mothers milk and fenugreek from amazon to see how it will help.

Babe.....look for coconuts from all those Asia shops and drink the water......plenty of it...helps alot...then make tea your friend, drink lots of water and do the water breast compress thing....you will see your breast milk spraying like shower..... grin grin

Madam Enyinne I asked about mosquitos because I haven't been to TX before and I know some parts of Cali have mosquitos esp in the summer (just don't know if it's enough to cause Malaria) It was a genuine question.

You're a few days post partum so I understand the blues.
Have a warm bath, eat and take your pain killers. You can buy a pump to help with suction.
Take care of yourself.

Malaria was eliminated from the United States in the early 1950's.
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by nefertitiram: 4:38am On Nov 04, 2015
Not feverish though, buy dizzy yes, like you feel like fainting.
Sister you gotta chop up o! Correct Akpu, poundo, heavy food like that to balance out your calories cos baby is taking from you.
If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, consult your doctor

Enyinne:
I hv taking the motrin I bought from walmart as suggested by my Aunty. I did a c-section last week Wednesday. I hv also checked my bp and it's normal. Does anyone experience this ill feeling while breastfeeding. ur tone is harsh, pls calm down as I ask a question that matters to me meanwhile ,one can't basically pick malaria from TX but it can be in the system thru pregnancy unnoticed .

I didn't state epidural cos I didn't use epidural. Epidural is a different bill on its own. I attended antenatal clinic in my doctors office at old oakbend dat is the oakbend on Jackson Street not the William way campus oakbend where I had my baby.
okay, thanks

My POE story

Traveled with KLM at 35 weeks + no fitness to fly was asked. Requested for wheel chair thinking it would save me at ORD.. lol.. though it fast tracked my meeting with CBP.

CBP : Are you here alone
Me: Yes
CBP: Scanned my fingers and took my picture. How long are you staying?
Me: 9 weeks
CBP: Can i see your return ticket. Handed it over to her. What will you be doing here for 9 weeks?
Me: Vacation and Child birth.
CBP: Where do you work?
Me: xxxx
CBP: How do you intend to pay your bills? How much do you have. I want the exact figure
Me: $7500 and I have my card.
CBP: Please come with me. She took me to the secondary inspection unit.

There were so many people there should be about 50 people or more. I knew i was in for a long thing.
I sat for 1 hrs, 2hrs, 3hrs! At a point i was like what is happening here? People that came after me were cleared and they left me there. I went to meet one of the officers and he told me they group the cases based on severity. That those that came after me and have been cleared had minor cases. In my mind I was like I don enteram o shocked. I went back to my sit. After about 15 mins I went to meet another officer and he asked if I was Nigerian I said yes. He said he saw my passport that it would soon be my turn. By this time i was already feeling dizzy cos my blood sugar had plummeted. Finally after about another 20 mins an officer called me. He was like you stated you will be staying for 9 weeks; We stamped you in for 10 weeks. They didnt request for any document ooo... No form of interview. I was like? In my mind why in the name of God was I kept here for close to 4 hrs! Anyways I just got up from the wheel chair didnt even wait for them to get someone to push me and left.

Went to the exit submitted my declaration form as I was about to go the Customs guy noticed I was pregnant. He said Madam please step back. My eyes nearly poped out of my socket.
CBP: Did you inform the embassy about your pregnancy
Me: Yes. Do you want to see it?
CBP: Yes
Me: Handed over the change of intent mail to him
CBP: How much do you have
Me: Cash 7500 card: ×××
CBP: Madam please come with me
Me: Really pissed now. I told him i had spent close to 4 hrs at d secondary inspection unit and they released me so what does he want
CBP: Please come with me this would be very short. Can I have your passport.
Me: Gave him my passport and he handed it over to another officer. The officer scanned it and recorded something and gave it back to me and told me I was free to go.

Na so my waka be o. Had already bought my ticket before i discovered this thread. Will not go through Ohare in a very long time abeg. While i was waiting they sent 3 people to their cell awaiting deportation. One was unfortunately a Nigerian guy. 2 guys and a lady. The lady was not pregnant.

Intending pregnant travelers should note that once you are pregnant and you tell them you would in most cases automatically be directed to secondary inspection unit in ORD

Just excited I made it down here against so many odds. Make una help me shout 3 halleluyahs grin grin grin

Congrats on you baby girl. sent you a PM earlier but not sure you seen. I'm planning to be in Elpaso by January, can you please share details of accommodation in El Paso? I'm currently considering Intown suites but not sure if its a good option.

JDQueen:
Good day great mama's N papa's. My princess arrived on the 28th of October via unplanned Cs due to accelerated BP of over 160/90. Was in labor for about 3days and didn't go pass 5cm despite been induced and water broke on the 27th still didn't go pass 5cm. Cs was finally carried out and baby came at exactly 2.56am on the 28th. They are somethings you need to consider first, for example, were you asked if you were pregnant during your interview and you answered No? If you were asked and you lied, letter of change of intent might not help you o. Because i have heard of people that cbp officers calculated the day their visa was issued to their due date just to accertain if they were pregnant during their visa interview and they lied. But on the other hand,if you were not asked, then you can send them a change of intent letter and they will send you the generic reply or worse case scenerio they invite you to come for an interview and you go fully prepared with your borden of proof etc

This is why i didnt go to houston. They didnt appear vbac friendly. I was in correspondence with dr F but once i mentioned vbac he told me point blank that most docs in the area are reluctant to carry out the procedure.
I think youre better off in El paso
Thats why I came to my new york jeje cos my hospital had a number of obgyns that had carried out the procedure and are very experienced. As God would have it. The very doc my heart was leaning towards was the one assigned to me. He told me i had less than 40% chance of success cos my first delivery leading to cs was very dramatic. After having an episiotomy and baby crowning, he went back in cos he was face to pubis ( silly hospital didnt do a scan). So we did cs last last. So annoying! But he didnt rule out the possibility. That was all i needed to hear. With all these "odds" against me it ended up being a vbac. Its possible my dear, but please go with your SPIRIT! I did some mfm prayer moves before even conceiving and throughout pregnancy. It was just God

Also, please kindly advise if Soulcare is a good choice in terms to proximity to shopping malls.
Is it a walkable distance?

Congratulations @ Tobermom. God bless your LO. Pls Tobermom, financefitness, olokings
and all the mums that have done vbac, pls oh how many months after cs was accepted by your obgyn for you to get pregnant again? Are they all on the strict policy of 18months after cs? Are there other hospitals that do it for less? Thanks for answering oh biko. I need to know my fate concerning this vbac thingy to help plan properly and early.
