unlike PH with disorganise housing arrangement where you see a beatiful skyscrapper surrounded by shanties, enugu housing is well arranged, some areas are for duplexes and some are for multistorey residential buildings. Those who rushed to show us Lagos dont kw the meaning of liveability which is the titile of the thread 6 Likes

menabadoo: Bode Thomas Road and it's environs are faaarr better than the trash being paraded here firstly. You need to take a tour of Oyingbo it's all I will say. Obanikoro is not just a bus-stop it's an area sharing borders with shomolu, Anthony, and Gbagada saying it's just a bus-stop is a fallacy. There are let's of places there better than the pics being shown here. I can't believe anyone that has been to Allen will come here and brag with this kind of useless pictures, Allen compared with the stuffs here looks like heaven seems it's been more than 10years you visited Lagos last. Note; all the places I mentioned are highly populated Areas not express roads or industrial areas |

AlPeter:shut up, Allen has good buildings with bad roads, Allen avenue doesn't have good drainages with walkways. Bode Thomas is a normal neighborhood, you are not well travelled, the beauty of surulere ends at Eric moore road. Ojuelegba, aguda and ijesha are the biggest places in surulere and they are slums. The fine part of obanikoro is just the bus stop along ikorodu road. Don't tell people lie here. 2 Likes |

HopeAtHand:you didn't get me? Forget the population, Enugu has more infrastructures than port Harcourt, more street lights, waste bins, traffic light, wider roads, road signs, name it. Enugu beats pH in all these. 2 Likes |

At the end of the day you will still run to PH to live and work, why not go and live in Enugu? You people should stop this nonsensical rants. I will keep saying it, any city that does not have economic value is not livable, that is why there are more people going to China and US than going to Switzerland and Austria. Economy is everything, because it is only in an economically viable cities that people want to go to and not timid poor cities. People all over the world prefer economically viable cities as destination than just a sleepy non viable cities with mostly poor residents. You don't sit somewhere and scribble unreasonable thing from your head and want force down the throat of others. menabadoo: 1 Like 1 Share |

SpaceTour:I'm not from southeast, I'm just stating the obvious, PH has lesser infrastructure than enugu. PH is dirtier than enugu, when you experience traffic in PH, its like being in hell. Bad roads are scattered all over pH. 3 Likes |

HopeAtHand:PH doesnt have good social amenities. The only thing about PH is its economic viability and cash flow. Electricity supply in enugu is better than that of ph Enugu has better roads Enugu has better traffic lights It's not as if pH has pipe-borne water Port Harcourt can only be painted heaven for people that doesn't know there. Stop saying what you don't know. I am not from SS either but PH beats Enugu all round both infrastructurally, tourism, economy, good roads, good popular of billionaires etc. PH is about thrice the size of Enugu. I am not a resident of PH but a mere regular visitor. I can flood this place with PH pictures here and right now to prove to you that Enugu is just but a toy where PH is. Like I said economy is everything and people all over the world tend to tilt towards economically viable cities. Only the economically viable cities are livable..the reason you have more people trooping to Lagos, PH, Warri, Onitsha, Kano, Ibadan etc.. menabadoo: 1 Like 1 Share |

SpaceTour:it's not my fault that PH is more economically viable yet its infrastructurally less competitive. Newyork as a city uses its population and economic viability to make its infrastructures as sound as those in Manchester (which has lesser population) and above all, it uses its economic viability to curtail its population. Don't blame anybody if pH is less efficient. 4 Likes |

Shut up fool. Read to understand my point. Economy is everything. Only economically viable cities are livable if not people will not be rushing to setup in those places ahead of others [s] iconize:[/s] |

SpaceTour:as far as pH, Onitsha, Ibadan, kano and Lagos is concerned, Enugu is more livable than those cities. The other livable cities in Nigeria are calabar and uyo. Even my own Asaba is not up to the standard, I can't satisfy my ego and skip the truth. 3 Likes |

SpaceTour:I have stayed in PH for two years, pH is overhyped. The good roads in enugu doubles that of pH, the traffic lights in enugu triples that of pH. PH just have nicer hotels and more companies. That's all 2 Likes |

Stop making unfounded silly comments. PH is far bigger in size with even far more infrastructures. New York is a choice destination than Ohio but in your warped thinking you may conclude that because Ohio is a sleepy poor state that it is more livable than New York but its not. Being an economically unviable does not mean "livability". menabadoo: 1 Like 1 Share |

Osu dunce get out. My point remains the same it is only economically viable cities that are livable because economy is everything. If not tell me why there are more people in US and China than Russia and Australia? iconize: |
Re: Nigeria Will Be Livable If All State Capitals Can Be Like Enugu-pictures by SpaceTour: 7:40am On Nov 05, 2015 |
That is the warped reasoning I am talking about. Lagos is unlivable in your thinking but everyday more people board buses from all over the country heading to Lagos. If it is not livable nobody will dare go there. That is why I said that economy is everything. People naturally move to economic viable states and not the other way round. menabadoo: |
