HopeAtHand:but if those Igbos abandon port Harcourt, the city would be dead. In fact, igbos are not even getting the most of what they are giving to PH. Igbos make ph what it is today. From Genesis cinemas, Genesis restaurants, Everyday supermarket, mile one market etc, igbos dominate. Without igbos, ph would not even be in the discussion. travel and see Ikwerre man 2 Likes |

menabadoo:point of correction Abakpa is never the worst place to live in Enugu, people make it seem so,maybe because of the few shanties around but take your time and journey down to Nike road, through T- junction, straight to another level and elimil Estate. From Texaco junction down to colleage road,Housing Estate and ifo layout you will observe that Abakpa is not left out in the development. But they have issues with bad road at some places which you can only witness at the popular abakpa bridge, first bus stop, ahaia Abakpa , liberty and Last bust stop and these are major roads leading to abakpa environ but their streets are well tarred. 1 Like |

Why not abandon it first and let us see. I think you are wiser than so many Igbo big shots in Ph?. Everyday and Genesis will be poorer than any fool if they reasoned like you and moved to your imaginery Enugu. FreeGlobe: |

menabadoo: Enugu is not big. Even if you add from Garki to Airport it is still very much smaller than Port Harcourt core not to talk of extended Port Harcourt. |

SpaceTour:perhaps because of the oil status of port Harcourt just like the coal status of Enugu which has been out phased. most big men in Port Harcourt live in Enugu. Peter obi your governor and his commissioners ruled from Enugu for 8 years. lmao 3 Likes |

Abagworo:how many kilometers is rumuokoro to boro camp and the length of aba road and creek road. Let's see if port Harcourt is bigger. What is also the distance from Choba to eleme junction. I guess this should cover the whole of pH. 2 Likes |

Abagworo: Rivers state and Port Harcourt is very Nigerian..The problems of inefficiency and incompetence is there..and the tribalism issue isnt helping the development of PH as lands are not easily released to state govt for proper planning.most times even when released the indigenes still go back resell the lands. That said, Enugu will choke from the pressure of PH. |

Stop fooling yourself Peter Obi was born bred in Fegge Onitsha and till tomorrow he stays in Onitsha. Any serious investor will not put Enugu on the same table with PH. Enugu is a town for poor civil servants. Even in my own little capacity PH is high on my table of preference. The same reason I say that ECONOMY IS EVERYTHING. FreeGlobe: |

HopeAtHand:Enugu will never choke with pressure of PH. Enugu has wider roads than PH. More roads than PH. More dual carriageways than PH. More city planning than PH. Ikwerre man travel and see 2 Likes |

I agree with the fact that the population has effects on PH than Enugu with far less Population but the Govt of Rivers is very lazy. The need to constantly come up with Environmental Sanitation programs, create Traffic control agencies, road planning etc. Lagos has more population than PH but it has all these programs in place to keep things in Check. I think the comparism with PH and Enugu will be justified, if the Population of Enugu is like that of PH that way we can see which Govt is more hardworking and responsible. 2 Likes |

SpaceTour:Peter obi and his commissioners were coming to work everyday from Enugu. You should have known since you claimed to work in his government. Enugu a town of poor civil servants generate more IGR than Anambra. Do you know how many companies in Emene axis, nightmile? PH money is just oil money. investors have different reasons of citing business just as Shoprite left ph to open shop in Enugu. Enugu is not your Everyday Nigerian city. You can keep making noise but the fact will keep staring you in the face. lol http://www.100resilientcities.org/cities/entry/enugu#/-_/ 3 Likes 1 Share |

I am not here for your usual silly comparison. Obi lived and is still living in Onitsha till tomorrow. I knew because I was and still involved I know it is painful but I will still place Ph far ahead an Enugu because economy is everything. Any serious and genuine investor considers 1000 PHs before looking for an Enugu. Just like we are seeing already. FreeGlobe: |
