dont worry. it will heal. i also got worried during my son's own but i ws reassured. dont put anything like u were told. d plastic ring will come off on its own within 7 days. if after the 7th day d ring is yet to come off, take him back to d clinic u did d circumcision.

D nurse DAT did for my son recommended penicillin and it worked like magic. d ring fell off within 4 days and healed speedily. my LO is 5 weeks now.

I went 4 DS circumsitn (plastibel) today and was told not to put any ointment on it. i am now wondering how it will heal up fast.
Experienced mamas pls did u put anytin as treatment? How do i go about bathing him? pls help a FTM on how to go about it. Thanks in anticipatn

I also didn't apply anything wen my DS was circumcised and it healed well. Bathe him as u normally do. D plastibell doesn't affect anything. it shld fall off in less dan 2wks.

Don't panic, but pus is the sign of infection, take bobo to a pediatrician & if you can, plan to scrape off the hair since he is in the habit of pulling & bruising himself...

Any particular reason you want to introduce beverage* to the child?

If you ask me i'd say there's no need really, plenty of time for her drink it once she's about a year and a half(and above).

Some mums mix it into cereals, to encourage the children to eat the cereal plus personal preference but your baby isnt missing out on anything by not taking it for now!

No special reason ma just that my lo does not take her formula and cereal at Free will unless you force her but will cry after an adult taking tea. It you put a drop of the tea in her mouth, she will lick and will want to eat the spoon as well I was just assuming that she like it and I just want to know if it's ok for her age. Thanks ma

Mamas, Abeg do u know any hosp or health centres where they give MMR and Chicken pox at a cheaper price preferably around ketu Alapere Magodo and environs. Both are 17k in a hosp close to my house and 15k5 in my hosp.

not sure of price, u can check health centre at mascara ketu and delta crown hosp at ile le, ketu. They shud av dre..

Give her milk and then gradually resort to just water.

once in a while, l give my LO vitc or multivitamins to build up his immune system again flu i.e catarrh and cough. So l think they need multivitamins and vit C. it may not be an everyday thing, but its good to give them maybe two or three times a week.

You are a super mum . When l stopped, l never did any night feeding, l made sure l fed him well before he sleeps, l offered water when he wakes at night, it wasnt easy for the first few days, but later he got used to it, till now almost 2 years, he doesnt distrub at nights for food or anything.

I think when you continue the night feeding they grow with it and keep waking to demand for food, even when they are old enough.

When I started, he ll always wake up o regardless of how heavily I fed him b4 sleeping. Initially, we were feeding 2x at nyt, then once, until he finally stopped. So nw, he doesn't wake up to eat in d nyt anymore.
