Before you certify your documents, you need to bring along a completed application form you filled from the University you're applying to. It's very important at the consulate. But you might not need that at the high court.
Okay thanks..

Yeah, i was also affected in August and it's both ticking US citizen thing & failure to sign the acknowledgement part. So you also did yours on August 3rd! After they replied that I should resend another form by courier in September, I repackaged it and send using NIPOST since 15th September. It seemed d mail got lost in transit as I couldnt get its whereabout even tracking it directly from NAHCO. On Tuesday i called a their office in nahco (where i was told all percels are moved) but they where clueless and refered me back to the post office i mailed it from. The guy i spoke with on phone told me it seemed d mail is hanging in Amsterdam. However i had already signed it & sent to my friend by email to print and post from there. He told me it should get there last week Mon/Tuesday and I expected that the account details will be sent latest by tomorrow Friday (which is about a week like they did for @Sirkels here).

But because i wasn't sure if it will be accepted that's why i asked on this forum so that I won't be waiting endless peradventure they refused it (which they will NEVER tell me) and the nipost never gets there.

Like you said earlier, it seems its a new info for others on this forum and it can further be made substantial later.

What's good with you and when are you planning to move?

Cheers & success to those making fresh admission applications.

Hi, there is still a possibility that you got DB account details response from the application you had earlier sent through NIPOST.

Your age isn't a prob... Is your upper credit in HND or ND? If its the former you will definetly get an offer for a bsc prog... PGDs aint common in Germany... The minimum requirements for masters is a bachelors degree... Use www.daad.de for your search... Other ogas go contribute... Cheers.

@Stevemims and Kilo4sure many thanks for the information. I really appreciate. Will take my time to go through the pages and come out with unasked questions.

Cheers

There is high possibility that they got the db form you sent to them via Nipost. I was lucky that my school extended my enrollment deadline, my visa is out, I will travel next week.

In my own opinion, Yes applying through Uni assist has more advantage. There are some uni that is under uni assist while there are many uni that is not under uni assist, those under uni assist have less applicant and that mean less competition and more chances of getting admission while the uni that is not under uni assist have a very high number of application because it is free application and less stress which leads to high competition and less chances of getting admission. When I was applying, once I see a school that is under uni assist I will just close their portal because I don't have time to start spending money where i have not see admission letter, na jump and pass I dey do schools that is under uni assist but if you have the money and time use uni assist it will highly brighten your chances of getting admission letter.

Summer admission letter from December-February lectures start in April while Winter admission letter from March-August lectures start in October.

Did the embassy requested for school enrollment extension before your passport was stamped with visa?

Helo guys , I have a very important qtn. Pls do not ask me to read through all the pages as I have done that ans am yet to get an answer to my question.

My qtn has to do with uni-assist, can some1 help with succint explanation on how to apply via uniassit ?

From submission of credentials, to online application and also mode of payment.

Am particularly disturbed about mode of payment as the banks in nigeria dont accept fcy ie foreign currency deposits again.

Whats the way out ? A detailed response will be very much appreciated .

Yes, infact without it they won't give the visa, it was stated also in the mail they sent for the collection of the visa that the person must present it.

Don't get it wrong, winter semester starts September /October. Maybe you meant summer semester. It depends on your course of study and whether you're going for Msc or BSc. I think there are couple of schools that require just letter of proficiency from your university. I also think you ain't checking correctly. You could also try Study-in.de.
NB: How can anyone suggest to you when no one knows your desired course or the degree your going for.
Lol... Funny guy grin

My bad and Mistake. I actually thought winter is between December to March.

Anyway, I intend going for Masters in Business Management.

Any school suggestion will be helpful. Thanks

The summary is that you go first to the website of the uni that you want to apply and get the documents and requirement needed for the course you want to study, then register and fill uni assist online form, print and send to uni assist together with your school requirements, then on the uni assist website you will see their account details, go to any bank request for form A and transfer the application fee to them. You will find the detailed information at uni assist website.

sending all forms in one envelop is Okay,

The 75 euors in this case will take care of both the B.Sc and M.Sc applications as far as its for the same school and you are applying for the same semester. Make sure you print the forms separately.
Note; you can only be admitted into either the M.Sc or B.Sc and not both.

Thanks much.

No need for DOB on transcript, if you can't cover it with something when you are doing the photocopy of the transcript for certification or scan it and change it, then you have to reach out to your school to change it because it will be conflicting with the date of birth you have on your passport and other documents.

Hello All, it's been a while since I last showed up here largely due to the fact that I have been trying to settle down and only just signed my internet contract yesterday.
** Let me start by saying Germany is a LOVELY country although procedures can be kind of overly bureaucratic which can be frustrating at times especially as a 9ja guy lolz.
** Anyways here's for the 2016 guys. In addition to the foodstuff you're carrying, carry beef (boiled and dried), fish, garri, dried, stock fish, pepper soup spice, egusi, ogbono, crayfish, pumpkin, bitterleaf, indomie etc also CARRY OIL! CARRY OIL! CARRY OIL! No se dem no tell you! Here's how i carried mine. I put it inside two Eva 75cl bottles, tied it very well, put it inside the inner pockets of my suit then buttoned and rolled up the suit inside a transparent suit nylon(d type dry cleaners de use) and then arrange the suit wella.
I flew Emirates but my luggage was 49kg! Plus one 7kg hand luggage (omo e weigh 11kg in reality o! na small travelling bag sef) and one laptop bag lolz no mind me o I carry food stuff wey go last me till next year cuz I no de take food play... eehhhhnnnn if i hear am! wink wink wink grin grin grin smiley
I paid about $50 for the extra load to be carried (e get how....) If you plan on carrying much load like i did PLEASE follow another airline and forget the names!
From Lagos I follow Obiwann style na three jeans and two winter jackets den hold one for hand omo I de der de sweat like Xmas g**t my laptop bag damage come see as i de drag d hand luggage and laptop bag and winter jacket for hand chai!
*** Didn't have problems with customs dem search my bag dem no see d oil based on d arrangment things.
PLEASE IF YOU WISH TO CONNECT YOUR CITY BY TRAIN OR BUS FROM THE AIRPORT DO WELL TO BUY THE TICKET ONLINE BEFORE YOU LEAVE 9JA AND PRINT IT IT WILL SAVE YOU A LOT. I had a terrible experience trying to connect Jena because i couldn't find the train station in Frankfurt. See as i de drag my three luggage from terminal one to two and back. Despite d weather sweat con de do me! Thank God I HAD MY MASTER CARD WITH ME (Broda and Sista carry am follow bodi o!) I went to a US post there where the american lady used my card to book a bus for me. IF NOT I FOR SLEEP FOR ROAD that day.

Hello house, I need your advise

I wasn't able to meet up with my school's enrolment deadline of 30th October due to a long delay in funding resulting in absence of visa issuance.
All efforts to get the university to give me a further extension proved futile.

I need to ask, how do I mail the embassy that I no longer require a visa anymore since the purpose of study as been defeated this winter session.
The last mail they sent was for a confirmation of Deutsche bank blocked account funding which I haven't replied since I couldn't secure an extension from the school.

Kindly advise on steps to take.

Thanks

Good eve house. I applied for a short course after sending my result to them they said they will get back to me in 10 days and they did with via attached asking me to pay for the course fee but I asked them if the money is refundable if I didn't get a visa they said NO. Can I apply with this letter sent to me then if I am lucky to get my visa I will send the money to them. Does it work that way? Any idea?

If you apply with this letter, the embassy will see that you haven’t paid a dime for the course which will be a very good reason to deny you. And even if you pay the 1500Euros, the possibility of you getting a visa is very slim; like 0.01 on a scale of 1-10. So bro, just forget it. You need to apply for a real program - graduate or undergraduate. This is merely a certificate program bro. Your visa processing will be 6 - 8 weeks for a program of just 1 week, you have to credit 12 months living expenses of 8040Euros in a blocked German account for a stay of just one week? The embassy will see through your desperation bro. Even me wey no be VO no go give you visa.
