Ioannes:the guy messed up by bringing yorubas into this. But igbo are nt only mere petty traders as u ppl always claim. 2ndly, tradding is a money spinner, reasn why shoprite is rushing in, u ppl shud stop negleting trading |

basilo101: of course Igbo like other ethnic groups have good professionals in other sectors of the economy. Yorubas are traders too. just baiting the chap. so I can give him an uppercut. 2 Likes |

ezeagu:Though your map is good, permit if I may criticize your map a bit 1]the Igwenga coastline is absent. I wonder how the Great King Jaja would feel if his people the Igbos left his descendants behind. Igwenga(opobo, andoni and bonny island) are Igbos and nothing can change that. 2]the Western bank of river Cross starting from its confluence with Aloma to its bend at Arochukwu belongs to Igboland. In your map, only afikpo has direct boundary with the river while the upper aspect which is present day Abi LG of CRS isn't represented Pls,make appropriate changes to reflect the data you missed out together with their projected economic potentials. See maps of pre 66 eastern Nigeria( I couldn't find maps of the East central state created by Gowon as it better explains my points

Ioannes:U had no economy during the war. Igbos contribute upto 70 percent of import duty, they have a lot of companies, and are traders and more. That is the life wire of Lagos economy. Igbos are the reason NPA and customs are doing well. You know all these but envy and ego wouldn't allow u to acknowledge it. Ur region will turn to Benin Republic if Igbos leave Lagos. |

Re: Alaigbo: Development Fantasy, Case Studies & Comparisons by Nobody: 7:12am On Nov 01, 2015 |
zuchyblink:so, you honestly think your own lives will be better just cos you are going to get biafra? Imagine all ibos returning to alaigbo. Do you think the land will contain you? Don't you know that the competition will be unbearable for ibos? House rent price will increase amidst other harsh realities. Every region will suffer should Nigeria disintegrates, but the regions with a good foundation now will not. Pls stop thinking the SS will go with you cos I can already see the OP mapping out developmental strides that can only be achieved with abundance of oil which SE lacks. The OP calling PH igwu ocha shows the false love you have for the SS. You guys couldn't even wait for them to join biafra before even renaming their cities and grabbing their land. And you wonder why they call you oil thieves. 1 Like |

Isn't this supposed to be an Igbo fantasy thread? What exactly are Yorubas doing here? Seun, lalasticlala, etc. If you lots won't put these Yorubas in chain, then I am going to the Yoruba development thread, and I am so going to mess it up that the only place it's going to end up is tribalism thread. And Amadioha will judge and strike any of you, if you don't interfere here now by banning all these Yorubas but decides to ban me in Yoruba thread. Off I go, Yoruba thread here I come. 4 Likes |

juicee1:Its now clear that all you guys know is to go from one Igbo thread to the other looking for trouble and creating nuisance! That map represents 95% of Igboland and it also include both SE and SS Igboland. Talking about inclusion of others, did you see yenagoa, warri,Bini on the map Or uyo or ogoja or calabar I don't know why a particular Nigerian tribe loves to be stupid despite glaring evidence that they need not to be 5 Likes |

Op don't forget that we have 2 raise d standard of delta airport & build a seaport at onitsha.. these will solidify import/export in d delta-anambra axis & uplift economic activities in Asaba/Onitsha/Nnewi axis.. It's achieveable! I love our brothers across the divide & no matter d propaganda they manufacture, we will always be one.. 1 Like |

LordNicvuitton: Yes, Asaba/Onitsha should be a metropolis despite the division of the Niger. Even some cities around the world are separated by water in itself like Istanbul. A river shouldn't be an ideological or political divide necessarily. Istanbul 1 Like |

Modern skyline buildings should be adopted to maximize housing capacity of our population. A modern orderly arrangement of what is currently obtainable at onitsha but this time a minimum of 10 storey building. 2 Likes |

ezeagu:Thanks for your patriotism to the fatherland Pls do a map like this for an Edo/Ijo state...something that'd include 1]Edo state 2]Delta state excluding Anioma 3]Bayelsa 4]Rivers excluding the Igboid and Ogoni areas At least let's give them something to fest their eyes on |
Re: Alaigbo: Development Fantasy, Case Studies & Comparisons by Afam4eva(m): 9:13pm On Apr 07, 2017 |

Afam4eva: Afam you've suddenly joined my school of thought after years of disagreement. It seems you've now lived in South-south and mingled with the people these misinformed Igbos are forcefully adding to their map. I told them from time that only Aniocha/Oshimili in Delta State are the useful people that can make any positive impact to progress of united Igbo. The rest of these Igbo speaking tribes of whom I happen to be part of maternally can never work with Igbos. The 2nd issue we disagree on that I want you to have a rethink is the partisanship of Igbo groups. Ndigbo are supposed to work together beyond barriers of political party. |
Re: Alaigbo: Development Fantasy, Case Studies & Comparisons by Afam4eva(m): 9:53pm On Apr 07, 2017 |
Abagworo:I've has that school of thougth for some time now. Most of my arguments have always been strictly on cultural basis and not in anyway political. I know how these minorities like Ikwerre, Ika and co. Having a country with them will only spell doom for us. On the second issue. I still don't see anything wrong in Igbos supporting whoever they so choose because i know you're referring to the the Jonathan/PDP and Buhari/APC episode. You say you don't want Igbos to be partisan but you wan them to support APC. isn't that partisanship? Atleast posterity has vindicated them. 2 Likes |

Afam4eva: All Igbo speaking areas should be incorporated and not just the SE. For me, a country with other ethnic groups of the south south is a no no. |
