angelo82: lancee: The God wey save people be say there were very low volume traded since the selldown began. It's only inexperience that will compel someone to listen to 'prophetic noise' as it was a no-brainer that Oando would not get to 50 kobo from 10 Naira because of bad result- na dem start am? Plus, Wale wouldn't allow something like that happen to his investment- not when price manipulation still exist in the stock market. If one of your investment principles is never to speculate with money you can't afford to lose you will hardly sell due to herd mentality. Biko, I am not saying anyone should HOLD, SELL or BUY 1 Like |

Like i talk before many ppl here have mago mago too much. Even though i disagree with somebody here wey talk make you no sell OANDO but wait for it to get to N250 (and the client be waiting at N10). I still give kudos to them for taking a position. What is your position on a matter don't come here and be neither hot nor cold! OANDO is going down to sub N5 by December and sub N4 before Q1 ending. This does not stop bulls (mini or major) from taking place after a fall. That is why i advised someone here to sell now and buy at a lower price. This will help recoup lost monies. I am not say BUY or HOLD. I am saying SELL. now 2 Likes |

A heavy glut of crude oil in the Atlantic basin kept differentials of Nigerian crude oil under pressure on Wednesday, with more than 60 million barrels of November and December cargoes available for purchase. Differentials of competing light sweet crude oil from the North Sea were also weak and high freight costs made exporting to the Americas and Asia less attractive. Also hampering exports of West African oil to India and China, typically among the biggest buyers, was a high premium of Brent to Dubai benchmarked crudes, which made West African oil less competitive relative to Middle Eastern grades. A sharp fall in futures prices and strong refining margins for gasoline in the United States was seen supporting demand for light sweet Nigerian oil, traders said, though this had yet to be seen in the physical market. angelo82:Na people wey no get kidney for this biz. I'm stuck with some oando I bought at 11.40, why should I come and sell at 5 when the company very much remains a going concern? When caught in a bad JIJO like this, I grimace and consign to the impaired assets corner of my portfolio. Then I try to sweeten the bitter cup a bit with grammar like, "I am a player in the upstream space of the petroleum industry". Sounds powerful, at least to my own ears. 1 Like |
