Pls users of this phone ..i order this infinix hot2 , 2gb variant with Android 5.1.1 from jumai and it will be two weeks tomorrow ..i rooted with kingroot today and after that i installed simple server and so on ..but after testing it, everything worked out fine ...i tried to reboot it ..after it rebooted ....it refuse to connect...both wifi and data ...it show : Dns error, no internet connection...i have tried all i could but still same issues continued....

Jumai gAve one week from date of collection ...i could have returned it like the other one that came about with same problem but the date has expired ....

pls if anyone could help me out i will be very happy

Pls how do I select what Sim to make calls with on my phone? Der is no option for ask always, it has to be set on one Sim permanently as opposed to asking glo or mtn for example wen making a call or sending an sms in other fone. Pls someone shld help abeg

I'm using this to write this now. Check your settings, that they are correct, if they are, then the problem is from MTN in your area...I experience a serious downtime when I travelled to a friend's house. You can try, refreshing your network by using airplane mode or restart your phone

This has nothing to do with rooting your phone. Get the correct working settings for Simple Server or find an alternative like Psiphon or OpenVPN. Connection problem is from SS

Many of us have used known brands for years and know the pain we go through because of the many apps deployed by the manufacturer which we don't need such that valuable space is occupied and denied to the user.

The only way out then was for that device to be rooted and find a way of getting rid of those apps.

In view of this Google in conjunction with some OEMs decided to launch a low cost mobile device and powered same with 'virgin' android OS - Android One.

Android One is devoid of any third party add on apps and as such if you buy a 16gb phone u are sure of at least 12gb space unlike with Samsung when a 16gb device leaves you with 8gb due to apps built in.

Now most complainant here have not taken time to study the phone before deciding they should buy it. Most want the phone because many people have it or hyping it.

In any case Infinix has also provided on their website customized OS for those who are OK with such. This OS version has everything required to make the set of users not comfortable with Android One devices.

So please do not buy Hot2 if you know nothing about Android One OS.

I use both default and blackberry APNs, and both work flawlessly, even with my PC

Check yours again or lemme know what u have on your settings
