For those of you desiring Hostel Accommodation, the procedure is thus, due to insufficient rooms, application should be made to the Dean Students Affairs who will approve and direct that your reg no be enabled for payment.

The heading says proposed, but the content looks good by me as it gives us ample time to dot the i's and cross the t's.

As of today though the current thinking is to stagger the Admission office clearance beginning with those from the merit category next week so that the workload will not be much as the time draws nearer.

But that calendar if approved will so sweet my bele, it means all you fresher's will be at home till next year allowing for renovation of hostels and proper planning of the entire process. Staff too can proceed on their annual leave.

If they were going to resume February, why rush exam like they wanted to meet up with the old pattern. I don't see anything good about this calendar.

Excuse. It's such that got Nigeria creeping in development when others are running. Unfortunately we can't do anything about it I truth that is the calendar.

People wrote exam this week so what do you mean by 3 months vacation? Scripts are being marked, at least 2 weeks, final year students being supervised and prepared for defence add 4 weeks, students on IT and teaching practice, add 2 weeks, we are already in January.

They finished exam 3rd, so it's still a full month and if you add December its already two months. Two month is as bad as 3. If i should skip the registration part, lecture starts February, that another month for students to choose to stay home. Lol after one minute of learning, they will give another Easter break.

you start counting from 3rd November to 3rd December to 3rd January which is about 2 months, its expected all students come and register and pay fees before commencing the academic year. We did not even factor in the students doing post graduate and those doing part time, there is really nothing to whine about.

In practice though, year 1 students that can come around will be allowed to do their admission office clearance in a staggered fashion because if all 10000 of you come that January it will not be easy for Ezekiel. Merit candidates will start then Remedial then Supplementary and of course during this period the hostels may not be open for you so make alternative arrangements. This is just a proposal, in time to come we will know the real deal.

What stopped them from starting proper clearance as early as September or the first week of this month? Nigerian factor. Uniben did their online reg simultaneously with physical clearance as early as about 3 weeks after first list, same with Unilag. I don't know if to call the school management lazy or unserious but it's all good. 2 months holiday is pointless
