Mogidi:
The present govt is making a mockery of our judicial process.
I see some people applauding it until the same tactics is used on one of their own. Today it is Dasuki tomorrow it maybe Tinubu.

Sure, another president would come after Buhari and another after him, people are too myopic. This explanation from DSS is anything but meaningful. I wouldn't want anyone who played a part in sinking this country to evade justice. Dasuki's case is incoherent to say the least though.

The statement coming from the dss doesn't make sense...... If you have additional charges against him them seek the leave of the court instead of turning to gate men at his residents

omolami:
This is clearly impunity on the part of DSS. Dasuki was to proceeded overseas for medical check up hence the court granted the release of his passport Why would the DSS not allow him return from his trip before attacking him again. If Buhari send this goat of a DSS boss a messenger message can't he use his sense at least for once.?

Just listen to your illiterate selves. You think by the fact that your comments got "likes" show that people approve of what you said. NO. It only shows the level of ignorance in our society and it is pitiable.

Because the court grant him freedom on a particular case now means he cannot be investigated for another? Is the court judgement a universal one that covers all other offences?

You lots needs to get a proper education about how legal system works instead of fighting to comment on the first page.

Seun, Lalasticlala, Ishilove, macolatunji this is the reason we need dislike button on this forum. So that people can know the true perspective other readers on whatever they've written. Having only "like" button without "unlike" button is a biased judgement of peoples opinion. It is like having a "vote of confidence" while a whole lot of people are disenfranchised from showing their "vote of no confidence"

People should be able to know that it is not all their opinion that makes sense. So next time they can have a proper thinking before they comment. This will not only put in check the moral bankruptcy that is destroying our society but will go along way to reduce insults on the forum. Why waste time and resource typing insult when I can simply dislike the comment.

What a ridiculous press statement! DSS must think Nigerians are daft.

Committees do not have the power to compel the attendance of anyone. Even if they did, it is for teh Police to arrest such persons not the DSS.

Try harder OPUIYO

Stop pretending to know what you're saying.

Ahmed Dasuki, Sambos blood brother has been on exile in Ghana for close to ten years now because of a financial scandal WITHIN the family, you have no idea the extent of this man's connections. I would know this as I'm a close friend of the family.

http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2013/03/12/aliyu-dasukis-billions-tear-family-aparrt/

He would disappear in a jiffy into places like Syria and that's that.
My earlier assertion stands. The world is now a small place. His brother is in Ghana because the government is not interested in him, yet.
I don't need to be close to the Dasuki's to know how well connected the family is. Still, if the government wants to hold him back, then they need to follow the rule of law.

welcome to the zoo where the job of dss is to witch hunt and arrest those who testify in court, instead of gathering intelligent information on how to defeat boko haram

Clearly, some die-hard zombies have quickly forgotten that during Obj's tenure, PMB was a No-Show when called to appear before a properly constituted Panel!! He will surely have to answer to a panel on his activities in the past when the time comes. Ecclesiastes 3 says there is a TIME for every thing in the life of a man - go mark it!!

These people have taken us for a ride and stolen our money in Billions ($) for many years, now that God has answered our prayers by giving us an administration that is determined to recover all stolen money, some Nigerians still have the audacity to come out to defend these evil doers, that have left our country on her knee.

Anyone that defends a known thief like Dansuki is a complete enemy of this country. We should all allow these thieves to defend themselves; after all, they all illegally stole our money and properties, therefore, I see nothing wrong if they are also prosecuted illegally.

Nigeria as a country is not going anywhere until we rediscover ourselves.

We need hard evidence against Dasuki and NOT just mere suspicion.

Typical. You're asking me to support corruption on the basis of acquaintances when the indirect victims are me and you?

You're the problem we are trying to eradicate.

OK Continue. Your own will be worse than Judas own. The sad thing is that you haven't the guts to tell everyone your real name and chose to remain the insect pest eating their vegetable . You are a pathetic person o. Friend of the family indeed. SMH

so u dnt even know ur rights.the only time security agents can arrest someone without a court order is if that person was caught in the commission of a crime. by the way check the meaning of arrest warrant
There is a category of crimes for which an arrest warrant is not necessary once there is suspicion. In any case, there was no arrest. They invited him but he declined to attend, starting the whole wahala. You certainly don't need a warrant to invite anyone for a chat.

So if security agents "break into" a suspected ritualist and find human heads and skulls, they won't be seen as evidence by the court? You reason like a child. Go watch films with FBI agents in them.

this dasuki case is a "cold case". Not any significant moving parts. Nigeria can issue an international arrest warrant for him if he refuses to appear before a court. (he has no obligation to appear before any committee.)

yes becos the person need simply say dat he didnt put it there and the case would fall flat.that is why they need probable cause to obtain an arrest warrant.otherwise they would be trampling peoples rights capice
