I agree with your submission.

Let PPP take over the projects under the supervision of the state government, however after they must have made adequate competitive and open bidding.

There must NOT be any BUY-BACK like the case of Leki Epe Toll

A young Nigerian pharmacist, Seun Omobo, has won a keenly contested election to emerge chairperson of the International Pharmaceutical Federation–Young Pharmacists’ Group (FIP-YPG), making history as the first African to occupy the position.

Seun won the election to chair the FIP-YPG which has been in existence since 2001, during the recently concluded Annual Congress of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) held in Dusseldorf, Germany from 29 September to 3 October 2015.

Omobo works as a consultant to the World Health Organization (WHO) ; managing the WHO Prequalification of Medicines Programme for Nigeria and neighboring West African countries. In 2014, her work on this project resulted in the unprecedented attainment of WHO Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) by at four pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria (SWIPHA, CHI, MAY & BAKER and EVANS).....making them eligible for procurement by international organizations including United Nations (UN) Organizations.

She also consults as an Assistant to the Director-General (NAFDAC) on technical matters.

She is an associate of the Nigerian Leadership Initiative, She is also a member of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community (Lagos Hub).
She is also a commissioner for the first ever Lancet Youth Commission on Essential Medicines Policies(YCEMP).

She had previously served the FIP-YPG as the Public Relations Officer(PRO) and was fundamental to the establishment of the Young Pharmacist Group Nigeria (YPG-N) in 2012 modelled after the global group.
Omobo is also responsible for the YPG-N Professional Travel Grant, which has sponsored at least 18 young Nigerian pharmacists to international trainings within the last two years.
Nigeria was a double winner at the FIP-YPG election in Germany, as another young Nigerian pharmacist, Oluwatosin Adeyemi,a beneficiary of the 2015 grant, also emerged project coordinator of the group. Adeyemi is one of the few young Nigerian pharmacists in academia. He lectures in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, University of Lagos.

Aside winning the project coordinator position, Adeyemi also made a poster presentation on the topic: “Assessing Beliefs about Medications for Hypertension and their Impact on Adherence” during the FIP conference.

Although, the main leadership of the FIP-YPG is a team of three elected officers (chairperson, project coordinator and public relations officer) usually from different countries, Nigerians are occupying two of the positions. A young American pharmacist, Sheena Patel, was the only other non-Nigerian that emerged as winner during the elections and she is to serve as the group’s public relations officer. They all will be serving the FIP-YPG for one-year.

The FIP-YPG was established 15 years ago as a network of FIP, mandated to encourage young pharmacists to be actively involved in international pharmacy activities and also work within the sections and organisation of FIP.

Members of the FIP-YPG are recent graduates of School of Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences (within the last five years) or a pharmacist under 35 years of age.

The FIP-YPG provides a platform for connecting with young pharmacists from around the world who are seeking networks, professional innovation and support.

FIP-YPG also supports members with travel awards and research grants.

Adding high speed rail before African can even deal with open sewage, lack of consistent medical, early death from various diseases, lack of medicine and inability for many poor Africans to even get their farm goods to the market from lack of decent roads. [b]E kaale o.

I WAS INTERESTED IN KNOWING THE FEW NIGERIANS IN JAPAN AND THESE TWO BROTHERS ARE THE NOTABLE ONES...

Bobby Ologun: Profile of naturalized citizen

Bobby Ologun is the stage name for naturalized Japanese citizen, 近田ボビー {KONDA Bobī}, who was born a Nigerian national in Ibadan and acquired Japanese citizenship in 2007. Bobby's pre-Japanese name is "Alaji Karim OLOGUN". He choose his nickname given name (which became his legal Japanese given name) from the singer Bobby Brown. He speaks three languages: Japanese, Yoruba, and English — and graduated from the University of Nigeria.

According to his comedy-autobiography (and should thus be taken with a slight grain of salt), he came to Japan in 1998 after hearing good things about it from his father. Coming to Japan on business to purchase tubes for automobile tires, he spent his capital on pachinko instead, and then decided to stay in Japan because Japan didn't have much in way of automobile tires that used tubes. In 1999, he met his to-be wife in a 居酒屋 {izakaya} (Japanese pub), Kyoko, and got married in Nigeria. He got his first big break in 2001 when he was discovered by television scouts working part time in the back kitchen of a Tokyo cafe in 渋谷区代官山 {Shibuya-ku, Daikanyama}.

As Japan does not allow married Japanese nationals to have separate family names, he chose his wife's name rather than have his wife, Kyoko, choose Ologun, or the both of them choose an unrelated third name.

In professional sports, he has done both kickboxing and MMA (mixed martial arts) at K-1 tournaments. He even beat 曙太郎 {AKEBONO Tarō}, also a naturalized citizen (formerly Hawaiian-American Chad Haaheo ROWAN), who rose to the top rank of 横綱 {yokozuna} in the sumo world before retiring.

In addition to professional fighting sports, Bobby is better known as a television celebrity and comedian, having been active since 2004. He was a frequent guest of さんまのSUPERからくりTV {Samma no sūpā karakuri terebi} ("Sanma's Karakuri-TV"wink and other Japanese variety shows. His television persona gimmick is his constant Japanese language gaffes due to his non-native command of the language as a foreigner, but the audience is in on the joke: in many segments, his fellow Japanese comedians (and his family) tease him when they catch him "acting straight" and forgetting to put on his routine. Additionally, many segments have detailed his personal life, showing him to be a good responsible man to his wife and four children (two sometimes appear on television with him). He has also had cameos, appearances, and interviews in video games, Japanese movies, commercials, and radio shows. He has authored two books and a DVD. As of 2012 he stars in his own show, ボビー's スタジアム {Bobīzu Sutajiamu} ("Bobby's Stadium"wink, which is broadcast on Television Saitama.

His professional profile claims he is born in 1973, though it was discovered that his Nigerian passport showed him to be born in 1966. He claimed (perhaps as part of his comedy act) that Nigeria gets birth dates wrong on passports all the time. As part of this joke, his website has a completely different birth date.

He has one younger brother, "Andy Ologun", who is also active in MMA (kickboxing and K-1) as a middleweight and managed by a Japanese talent agency.

Mass education is the cornerstone for any meaningful development and we have LOST it in Yorubaland after the glorious, sacrificial work by Awo in the ate 50s and that of the five UPN governors in the early 80s.
Today, Anambra is the leading star of education in our country while Yoruba states are lost in the crowd.

His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyemi III has constantly promoted development and has received push back from the government. Baba Sango lost a council position that was crucial being at the frontline to promote his agenda for change. There are forces within the Nigeria government that do not support a return to traditional government, even Oyo is affected by this phenomenon. And the Igbo people who tried to get out of the Nigerian colonial mess. Traditional government was concluded the best form of government to meet Africa's needs, and has thousands of years to back up the claim as proof. I have suggested a blueprint of treasuries to be supported by the people through associations of Ogboni town councils headed by Mr. Gani Adams, who is very effective in organizing common people. That money should be sent to Oyo and plans be made to support labor groups that would do the job of being infrastructures to tackle the list of problems I pointed out. Also tools, equipment and machinery should be purchased. In order for change to happen the structure of people organization must fit the change.

Aregbesola Eulogised Over the Renovation of the Osogbo Railway Terminus

The governor of the State of Osun Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has been described as prudent, talented, having vision and a God given gift to the state.

The special adviser to the governor on works and transport Engineer Oladepo Amudah stated this in his office while fielding questions from journalists on the rehabilitation and face lifting of the Railway Station, Osogbo.

According to him, government is using its meager resources to develop the station in order to enhance the social and economic status of the state and meeting the standard of Nigeria Railway Corporation.

Engineer Amudah said government has spent four hundred and twelve million naira on phase one, while the next stage will involve the recreation centre, clearing and separation from terminus to Olaiya which will cost six hundred million naira.
