I was really into your story until I remembered this monicker. It was you who said you would encourage your girl child to falsely accuse any teacher if he ever flogged her. Whatever the false allegations would be.
If I'm correct that you said those on the thread about teachers on FP today, then this story of yours just lost the flavor. To intentionally accuse on an innocent person is callous, total evil and cowardly. Here you are writing like a saint.
I'm sure all those liking your post didn't read you have the mind to conceive instigating your daughter to falsely accuse another of any innocent crime(s). True that. I will never take back my word on that stance.Any teacher that beats up my child will have his/her head buried deep in the sands. I have limits for being an emotional person.I will make sure I deal ruthlessly with such persons. |

From the disappointment on her face, I asked her if everything was fine. She narrated to me a story about how hungry her family was, and the fact that her mom sent her out to borrow money from my mate. I asked her to take me to her mother. It was an uncompleted building and I didn't know how somebody can live in that kind of place with grasses everywhere. I think FCT Nairalanders should come together this Xmas to do something for the less privileged. The word "beauty" should be reserved for people with your kind of heart ONLY. I have always told Nigerians to depopulate to solve the problem with caring for much population you can't feed. It is very annoying that people are not smart enough to see that. I am tired of pity and hearing of emotional stories of poverty when the resources could have been used to take care of few descent human beings who wouldn't mass produce and put pressure on the environment and resources. Awards and accolades and titles and even more gifts for the super rich and nobody cares to ask them what they are doing or can do that'll be beneficial to the poor masses.
Its always a case of someone that buys the latest N100 million range Rover and it makes headline as an achievement and nobody cares that a fraction of that money will feed a hungry community of the poor and impoverished for months. My dear, that celebrity nonsense dey tire me for here. Only if Nairaland MODs will ask God for sense, they will jettison 90% of their front page celebrity news. We actually do not care that someone bought a car for himself that wont benefit us anything. These guys are supposed to be role models to Nigerian youths and as such should champion charity causes. |

How do you know this? Shoprite is cheaper in my opinion than other super-marts in Nigeria. Especially in food and drinks section. And they have other good stuff too. I don't know what people gain from slandering them like this. Some small shops will try to even sell you expired goods just because they can't afford that loss unlike shoprite. I know they are not indigenous but I swear by them anytime I'm in a location where I can find one. coogar:
that's not the point.
what i was trying to say is nigerians don't get good value for the millions they spend @shoprite. 90% of the products in shoprite are from 1 pound store or 1 dollar store in the west.
why waste money on such products when they can spend a fraction of that cash in the local stores? a product that isn't more than N300 in value is about N5,000 in shoprite. nigerians need deliverance. 1 Like |

cos i see products of £1 store everywhere in shoprite. no one ever said the products aren't good but the mark-up price is ridiculous. selling products that shouldn't be more than N400 at N8,000 is a disgrace. those asians know nigerians have a penchant for foreign products, they buy in bulk at the pound stores, ship it down to lagos & sell at 2000% profit. the value is way less than what nigerians are willing to pay. 1 Like |
