Hey! Tell her not to be afraid. I've gone thru that 2x. I'm sure she has heard a lot about it bein painful. Pls tell her to fear not cos we all have diff pain threshold. The most important is for her and baby to be alive. She should continue her walks and she might pop before tuesday. Also you need to do ur man job cos it helps too. Hugs to her

The experience? I didn't shout all through but I wanted to slap oga! Lol
From the time drip was attached till I delivered errm roughly 5hrs.

Lailo, assure your wife that there are many methods of getting induced. Not all are like oxytocin painful. Even the oxytocin is painful but not unbearable. Like Lovinam said, we all have different pain threshold.
With the baby being engaged already, I dont think her labour will be that long( I am not certain o).

For me, on Friday by 8pm my cervix was still closed. By Saturday 4.30am, I was in labour without natural or artificial induction. All it takes is a twinkle of an eye for labour to set in. .
To hurry it along you can try to google the Pineapple therapy, try kpekusing, ( long walks wont be really helpful cos its aim is to encourage engagement buh you can still give it a try).

Allow this baby Biko. That's how my second scan gave me Oct 1st and I was seriously hoping on October 1st, dey broke my heart and I ended up waiting till oct 12th. So chilax joor cos that baby will pop at its own time and GOD's appointed time.
