Seun did not erect this site as a charitable site.
Seun and his family must eat too.

Immorality and self-abandonement is what sells now.
Even grandma want to twerk to beyonce now...and wear type of outfit her 20yrd grandbaby wears. Grandma has taken bank loan to redo face and tidy up her t1tt1es and butt....she got her money maker pruned up. C'mon!

Things will not always go the way we want it or flow in grain to our wish and desire. Let us come into acceptance that Nairaland is a scaled image of the socio-political space called Nigeria.

We do not run away from the sociopaths we encounter everyday, whether at bus stop, inside bus, the crazy taxi driver that risks your life on third mainland, the office clerk that collects lunch money first before she can give you the visitor ledger to sign. We deal with them out there. It should not be different with the ones in here.

Leave Seun to feed his family. I actually have business proposals to make him more popular by replicating via Nairaland the kind of spicy and scandalous entertainment popularised by Jerry Springer...but he refused to contact me.

Lol man must chop.

@Aarekankafo

You must be really new to NL. I'm really not surprised grin

Founder/CEO of Phase3 Telecom

Phase3 Telecom is Africa’s leading independent aerial fibre optic network infrastructure and telecommunications services provider. Incorporated in 2003, Phase3 was licensed as a national long distance operator to provide transmission services in 2006.

Stanley Jegede is one of the leading figures that have transformed telecommunications in Africa in the last decade. Jegede has had a successful academic career, but notably obtained a B.Sc (honours) in Business information systems from University of North London, in 1995 and M.Sc in Business information Technology from Middlesex University, London, in 1996. Among others, he worked as a Business Analyst in the United Kingdom between 1997 and 1999 and later joined Verizon Communications (Formerly Bell Atlantic) USA, in 1999 to 2002 as a Senior Business Analyst. At Verizon, he oversaw the implementation of a new billing system – Express Track across fourteen (14) States of the United States. In 2003, Jegede helped found Phase3 Telecom, a firm licensed to offer National Long Distance transmission services using fibre optic within the territory of Nigeria. His visionary and consummate leadership style has seen him turn Phase3 Telecom from a local firm to the service provider of choice in the West African sub-region offering services in a revolutionary manner through optic fibre running over power lines.

He has therefore created a novel means of transmission services that is safe, secured and cost effective. Jegede has consistently pushed the expansion of the Phase 3 network at a very high speed, with the vision of building the most reliable, dependable and longest fibre backbone across the West African region leveraging on the West African power pool. Today, Phase3 Telecom is the main driver of Nigeria’s Wire Nigeria (WiN) project, a scheme designed to deliver broadband services across all states of Nigeria. Jegede’s success with Phase3 Telecom, has seen him appointed as a member of the Broadband Committee inaugurated by President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and charged to produce a Broadband roadmap plan to drive broadband penetration across Nigeria. As CEO, Jegede has always shown commitment to quality of service and this in turn has yielded numerous awards including the International Arch of Europe award for Quality as well as best Infrastructure Service Provider award 2012 in the Africa-America International business awards, amongst other notable recognitions conferred on Phase3 Telecom. Jegede is a successful family man married with children.

Yomi, who is an Architect by training left the drawing board to pursue a career in ICT, after he successfully pulled through web hosting, website design and other mobile related services he thought it would be nice to share tips, reviews and how tos with others who may be facing challenges in those areas and looking for solution.

Apart from sharing Mobile tips, He also started one of Nigeria’s leading web hosting company Alireta.com which he later sold to Web4Africa.

Speaking on the show, he talked about the journey from Architecture to ICT, starting Mobility Arena, Phone reviews and getting recognized in Nigeria’s Technology Industry.

Aside managing Mobility Arena, he talks about his other blogs, House of Mo, being the Managing Director of CP-Africa and also confesses he sometimes feel like writing other stories like gossips, politics etc.

I swear you lived in London before moving to America, no? Then you moved back to the UK - and headed straight to Manny. You're definitely a pikey as well. Are you sure you don't have some Igbo blood in ya bloodline? grin

Yes, it's somewhat mad to follow American sports. I also watch NFL as well, but at least they play most of their games at 6P.M and 9.15PM UK time on Sundays. The NBA is crazy though - the earliest games start at 11P.M UK time. I just watch the early games most times and hit the sheets, except weekends when I lock into the interesting games, regardless of what time they start.
grin grin grin I may just be an igbo pikey, you just never know about these things, do ya ? lmaoooo. yup i was born in london, moved to naija for a bit, back to london, then to chicago and then to manny. its a crazy life bro but smebodys gotta live it lol. brah, i got my 2 dragon stout ready for that u 17 finals game today with mali. its finna be on. thats definitely something to look forward to today. i tried staying up for some nba games last night but crashed in bed tired after drinking just one dragon stout and doing numerous chores. yeah i give up on that NBA watching dream for now lol. its not a feasible dream

Meet Nigerian, Dr Olurotimi Badero, The World’s Only Combined Heart and Kidney Specialist Doctor

Olurotimi Badero, MD, F.A.C.P, F.A.S.N, F.A.C.C, F.S.C.A.I

jacksonfreepress.com
Dr. Olurotimi Badero
By Micah Smith

#With his laid-back demeanor, most wouldn't guess that Dr. Olurotimi Badero, 43, is one of the most knowledgeable medical minds in Mississippi. As the only combined cardiologist and nephrologist in the United States, Badero is a coveted commodity in his field, yet despite numerous job offers, he has stayed in Jackson.

#Even in high school, Badero valued education. He performed better than any other student in his native country, Nigeria, earning him an award for academic excellence. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Ife, he enrolled in the school's medical program and graduated in 1997.

#Soon after, he moved to the United States to attend the State University of New York, where he completed specialty training in internal medicine in 2004. In 2006, he earned his specialty degree in nephrology at Emory University in Atlanta. As he began treating patients, he realized that might not be enough. "When I was taking care of nephrology patients, I found out that patients were dying from cardiovascular disease and not from kidney disease," he says.

#In 2009, he returned to SUNY to earn his specialty degree in cardiology. After another three years in New York, Badero was accepted into Yale University, where he earned three more specialties: interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular medicine and peripheral vascular convention. His skill began drawing attention from medical organizations, including the Association of Black Cardiologists, which presented Badero with an award for excellence in cardiology in 2008.

#After training from 2001 to 2010, Badero was considering a job offer in Jackson, Tenn. His plans shifted dramatically while on a retreat in the Poconos Mountains. His church group visited the area to focus on God, and Badero hoped the experience would guide his decision. After five days with no answer, Badero was driving back to New York City when he read another car's license plate: Jackson.

#"When I saw 'Jackson,' I got excited," he says. "'This is God telling me to go to Jackson, Tennessee.' But then something in my mind said, 'Why don't you take another look?'"

#Badero took a position as an interventional cardiologist at Central Mississippi Medical Center in 2011. He performed the first radial coronary angioplasty in CMMC history and treated nephrology patients for two years without additional pay. He did a one-year fellowship in interventional nephrology and dialysis that year. In 2013, he formed Cardiac, Renal & Vascular Associates. He is a board-certified cardiologist, nephrologist, interventional nephrologist, internist and nuclear cardiologist.

#His skills aren't limited to medicine, though. Badero is also the assistant pastor of Vine Chapel Church and an avid painter. He believes spirituality and creativity are vital to the art of healing.

Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State has said his administration will ensure completion of all ongoing school projects despite the economic meltdown. This is contained in a statement by Semiu Okanlawon, his media aide, in Osogbo on Sunday. The statement stated that Mr. Aregbesola said this during his visit to the project sites in the state. It stated that aside the school projects, all other ongoing projects in the state would be completed as scheduled. It directed all the contractors handling the school projects to accelerate the completion of the projects. According to the statement, it will be unfortunate and regrettable if the contractors handling the school projects failed to complete and handover the schools to the state within the agreed period. It stated that the schools under construction were financed with the Sukuk bond, saying there was no excuse for the contractors not to accelerate the pace of work. The statement charged the contractors to keep the contractual agreement with the state government by using the recommended materials for the school building project. It noted that government would not shift grounds on the set requirement for the projects. (NAN).

I told him he should direct his anger towards Zik of Onisa who wanted to become Premier of Western Nigerian at all cost and insisted on One Nigeria.

At the end of my history lecture, the omo ale started bashing Zik of Onisa. He said "You are right, Zik put us in this mess".
