sukkot: Lmao. Only pikeys move everywhere in caravans. And since you're not a rag-headed cow-jockeying Northerner - the only other Nigerians that stay on the move are Igbotic folks. I like that. London Town, the belly of the beast, is the epicenter of great black minds. The jungle where higher black minds are born. If you can make it in London Town, you'll make it anywhere in the world, hence the doozies stay dominating Hollywood. We out here!! Brev, I ain't got time for the over-aged uncles at their peak playing for Nigeria, against schoolboys. These folks are serial cheaters and I don't support cheating. It's all good when they win, however, how many of them will make it to the next level? Just take a look at how the Super Eagles suck these days, yet the country has won that cup twice in the last 10 years. Where are all these players? But I'd like to see the Malian team cos it seems the country is blessed with great young talents. There's a next Malian kid who made the top-50 youngest great footballers on the planet. |

Meet Nigerian, Dr Olurotimi Badero, The World’s Only Combined Heart and Kidney Specialist Doctor Olurotimi Badero, MD, F.A.C.P, F.A.S.N, F.A.C.C, F.S.C.A.I jacksonfreepress.com Dr. Olurotimi Badero By Micah Smith #With his laid-back demeanor, most wouldn't guess that Dr. Olurotimi Badero, 43, is one of the most knowledgeable medical minds in Mississippi. As the only combined cardiologist and nephrologist in the United States, Badero is a coveted commodity in his field, yet despite numerous job offers, he has stayed in Jackson. #Even in high school, Badero valued education. He performed better than any other student in his native country, Nigeria, earning him an award for academic excellence. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Ife, he enrolled in the school's medical program and graduated in 1997. #Soon after, he moved to the United States to attend the State University of New York, where he completed specialty training in internal medicine in 2004. In 2006, he earned his specialty degree in nephrology at Emory University in Atlanta. As he began treating patients, he realized that might not be enough. "When I was taking care of nephrology patients, I found out that patients were dying from cardiovascular disease and not from kidney disease," he says. #In 2009, he returned to SUNY to earn his specialty degree in cardiology. After another three years in New York, Badero was accepted into Yale University, where he earned three more specialties: interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular medicine and peripheral vascular convention. His skill began drawing attention from medical organizations, including the Association of Black Cardiologists, which presented Badero with an award for excellence in cardiology in 2008. #After training from 2001 to 2010, Badero was considering a job offer in Jackson, Tenn. His plans shifted dramatically while on a retreat in the Poconos Mountains. His church group visited the area to focus on God, and Badero hoped the experience would guide his decision. After five days with no answer, Badero was driving back to New York City when he read another car's license plate: Jackson. #"When I saw 'Jackson,' I got excited," he says. "'This is God telling me to go to Jackson, Tennessee.' But then something in my mind said, 'Why don't you take another look?'" #Badero took a position as an interventional cardiologist at Central Mississippi Medical Center in 2011. He performed the first radial coronary angioplasty in CMMC history and treated nephrology patients for two years without additional pay. He did a one-year fellowship in interventional nephrology and dialysis that year. In 2013, he formed Cardiac, Renal & Vascular Associates. He is a board-certified cardiologist, nephrologist, interventional nephrologist, internist and nuclear cardiologist. #His skills aren't limited to medicine, though. Badero is also the assistant pastor of Vine Chapel Church and an avid painter. He believes spirituality and creativity are vital to the art of healing. 1 Like

Also bear in mind that a 17 year old raised in naij, especially the ones from poor backgrounds, won't develop as fast as a 17-year born in the UK and US. Governor Rauf Aregbesola of
Osun State has said his
administration will ensure
completion of all ongoing school
projects despite the economic
meltdown.
This is contained in a statement
by Semiu Okanlawon, his media
aide, in Osogbo on Sunday.
The statement stated that Mr.
Aregbesola said this during his
visit to the project sites in the
state.
It stated that aside the school
projects, all other ongoing
projects in the state would be
completed as scheduled.
It directed all the contractors
handling the school projects to
accelerate the completion of the
projects.
According to the statement, it will
be unfortunate and regrettable if
the contractors handling the
school projects failed to complete
and handover the schools to the
state within the agreed period.
It stated that the schools under
construction were financed with
the Sukuk bond, saying there
was no excuse for the
contractors not to accelerate the
pace of work.
The statement charged the
contractors to keep the
contractual agreement with the
state government by using the
recommended materials for the
school building project.
It noted that government would
not shift grounds on the set
requirement for the projects.

modath: Hahahahahahahahahahah I've once had the same experience with a flateeno in a cab on my way to AYA from Tipper Garage. The Flateeno was discussing with a lady behind me(I sat at the front), then he started bashing Yoruba. The omo ale called us various names till I responded. Thanks to nl, I've learnt a lot of history here. I lectured the bastard the history of Nigeria. I told him he should direct his anger towards Zik of Onisa who wanted to become Premier of Western Nigerian at all cost and insisted on One Nigeria. At the end of my history lecture, the omo ale started bashing Zik of Onisa. He said "You are right, Zik put us in this mess". Like you said Ma'am, the forced-marriage continues until we(Yoruba) sever the tie. To hell with the azzholes, who wants to live in the same country with Tse Tse Flies and Leeches. Nansense. 1 Like |
