Your looking for logic and what makes sense, Christ rose from the dead, have u seen anyone else who did? So that doesn't make sense. Do u believe the resurrection then?

About Resurrection; many people were resurrected before Christ was, it not new or illogical. Remember he resurrected Lazarus. Now who resurrected Christ? Himself or His father?

Jehovah's witnesses are very respectful citizens. They try their best to obey the laws of the land they live in. However, they owe their allegiance only to JEHOVAH. The reason? Firstly, think of what 'allegiance' mean. Perhaps some lines of the national pledge explains it. '........to serve Nigeria with all my stength......' Whereas, Matt. 22:37 commands us to love Jehovah with all our soul, heart and mind. So you see, God's word says we should serve Him unreservedly. So, if you serve your country with 'all' your strength, what would be left to serve God? Hence, while Jehovah's witnesses obey the laws of their lands, they owe their allegiance ONLY TO JEHOVAH.

OK. Now that you use all your strength to serve God, by preaching the Gospel, who takes care of the social/utility services, and other functions of government?

I bet many JW are in government employment, yet without allegiance. No wonder our government is not working.

JW would just be an utopia going by your argument

Yes. We believe in Jesus, who said: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) We have faith that Jesus came to earth from heaven and gave his perfect human life as a ransom sacrifice. (Matthew 20:28) His death and resurrection make it possible for those exercising faith in him to gain everlasting life. (John 3:16) We also believe that Jesus is now ruling as King of God’s heavenly Kingdom, which will soon bring peace to the entire earth. (Revelation 11:15) However, we take Jesus at his word when he said: “The Father is greater than I am.” (John 14:28) So we do not worship Jesus, as we do not believe that he is Almighty God.

You should read your Bible more as it is pointed clearly why Jesus doesn't equate Himself with God. It's covered perfectly Philippians 2:5-11, it reads:

5. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus
6. who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God "a thing to be grasped"
7. but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men
8. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
9. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name
10. so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11. and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

If that is not clear, here is God the Father i.e. Jehovah calling Jesus God:

Hebrews 1:8: "But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom"

The issue then is why would Jesus say - The Father is greater than I. The answer is quite simple: Subservience in role does not equate to subservience in essence - let me explain.

Consider an employer/employee relationship. The employer has the right to make demands of the employee, and the employee has the obligation to serve the employer. The roles clearly define a subservient relationship. However, both people are still human beings and share in the same human nature. There is no difference between the two as to their essence; they stand as equals. The fact that one is an employer and the other is an employee does nothing to alter the essential equality of these two individuals as human beings. The same can be said of the members of the Trinity. All three members (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) are essentially equal; i.e., they are all divine in nature. However, in the grand plan of redemption, they play certain roles, and these roles define authority and subservience. The Father commands the Son, and the Father and the Son command the Holy Spirit.

It is stated clearly in the Bible:

1 John:5:7: "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one"

I hope this clears it up for you

Not all Jehovah's witnesses are good, my former boss is a witness, he is a chronic womaniser and also owes his staffs and other individual contractors even when he has the money to pay his debts, the funny thing is we leave on the same street and when I see him coming out to evangelize I say to my self , what a hypocrite. Though I won't take it away from them, they do a wonderful job,

Thank you my brother. Jehovahs witness do not belief in the concept of hell fire and spirit. They do not believe in the powers of prayers. Have you ever seen any of them pray. They reject the divinity of Jesus.

All these contradict the bible. No true christian will ever believe their doctrine. Bible scholars class them as religious demons. They have the form of godliness but differ from the truth.

Above last sentence caught my attention:
They have the form of "godliness but differ from the truth".

Eph. 2:8, 9, RS: “By grace [“undeserved kindness,” NW] you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God—not because of works, lest any man should boast.” (The entire provision for salvation is an expression of God’s undeserved kindness. There is no way that a descendant of Adam can gain salvation on his own, no matter how noble his works are. Salvation is a gift from God given to those who put faith in the sin-atoning value of the sacrifice of his Son.)

Heb. 5:9, RS: “He [Jesus] became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him.” (Italics added.) (Does this conflict with the statement that Christians are “saved through faith”? Not at all. Obedience simply demonstrates that their faith is genuine.)

Jas. 2:14, 26, RS: “What does it profit, my brethren, if a man says he has faith but has not works? Can his faith save him? For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so faith apart from works is dead.” (A person does not earn salvation by his works. But anyone who has genuine faith will have works to go with it—works of obedience to the commands of God and Christ, works that demonstrate his faith and love. Without such works, his faith is dead.)

Acts 16:30, 31, RS: “‘Men, what must I do to be saved?’ And they [Paul and Silas] said, ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.’” (If that man and his household truly believed, would they not act in harmony with their belief? Certainly.)

Some people are like that even in other religions. Its their personal life. Jehovah witnesses is a group. Still we try to be mindful of our lifestyle. Since it might bring reproach to Jehovahs name.

19. Jehovah's Witnesses print their publications in over 800 languages.
20. Their official website jw.org is available in hundreds of languages. No other website comes close!
