You might need to call the admission office as soon as possible. Some schools are terrible with keeping up with mails.

Happy sunday to you Nairalanders,

Please i need your help concerning my acceptance letter which am yet to recieve from the school... Although a mail was sent to me when i accepted the admission. This document is the only outstanding doc. I am thinking of printing out the mail the sent as acknowledgment to serve as the letter of acceptance. Will that do? I have mailed the school with my last strength yet no response. Please help.

Thanks Manny.
Are we expected to pay the school fees before applying for visa? The agent is trying to send my sister to University of Manitoba but we want her to go to prince Edward University. My sister didn't do well in the English test. Will this affect her? The school will give her conditional admission to study English first i think before starting her major.

Thanks for answering my questions

Don't send your sister to PEI

This ur question get as e be..Pls structure it well. Is the company sponsoring u by way of a scholarship letter stating what they will pay or presenting a bank statement showing that?

Did ur sponsor transfer the said sum to you or it is just what will be written on ur SOP after presenting his bank statement..

Do you have a ersonal statement of account showing u have the said sum?

See all the possibility of questions u generated. Please try and breakdown ur questions well so u can get prompt answers. I intentionally ignored it all the while..

Cheers!

Yo my people how is it going it's been a while tho, warm greetings from Regina Saskatchewan. Just felt like dropping some useful advice I didn't get before i travelled. My advice to anyone coming over to Canada is that you should buy every single thing you need in this life in naija while coming, especially clothings and shoes because the prices of those stuffs can be so annoying over here. Come in with U.s dollars and not Canadian dollars So you Can get extra cash when you change to CAD. Make sure you get very thick winter jacket in Nigeria cuz you don't wanna know how much it cost over here. Anything you get here should be an addition to what you have already. wink goodluck

Hello my good people,

I have a friend who has BSc in Quantity Survey, and an MBA. She has over 15 years’ experience in banking. She has never used the BSc degree to work in quantity survey related job, so there is a knowledge gap. Right now she wants to set up a consulting company as a quantity surveyor. Because she has no knowledge on current operations in the field, she is considering doing another BSc degree in Quantity Survey in Canada to brush up. What are her chances of getting a student visa?

I understand she needs to prepare a SOP as part of visa requirement. What explanation will suffice in SOP and will sound convincing?

Thank you.
