She will soon be a year right? You might wanna wean her at this point. Let someone else feed her. Well use your motherly instinct and I pray she doesn't get it esteria: |

Sexymum1 , I don't know how you feel so I can't contribute from that angle , but one thing I know is what people close to me have done in this kind of situation... Learn how to give the strong stare down & straight face.. You can't totally avoid looks & some sideways comments but you can choose to give them power over your thoughts & emotions... I have a feeling the hurt & depressed is not about being unable to take care of an additional baby but from the feeling of "what will people say" ... What do you think is the Job of people?? People are saying & will always say something !! Do not give an F !!!!! You'll love it when you finally get it done & they are growing together & able to play with & assist each other.. Smile please, it is the least of the problems in this world. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Sexymum1 Rejoice and be glad for God has given you on a platter of gold what so many people are searching for even with money and have not found. Do you know that there are couples who plan to space their children with a 1yr spacing?? The only way they can achieve that is if the wife gets pregnant before the baby is 1. These people who u feel will talk, do they know if that is the plan you and your hubby have? You are answerable to nobody! You are not the first and you will not be the last. Enjoy every bit of this pregnancy and keep thanking God for it...or would you have prepared to ttc for another couple of years again God forbid! Rejoice and be glad for the Lord has made your quiver full. Who no like am make e hug transformer! Let your joy know no bound and all things will fall in place. Plenty E-hugs. 8 Likes 1 Share |

cutiereborn: Try using little noses (saline solution) or nosefrida, put 2-3 drops into each nose and after a few seconds use a bulb syringe to suction the mucus, the saline helps to loosen the mucus.you can also try to slightly elevate the head of the crib this would let her breath better, you can also use a warm humidifier @ night if that isn't available You can turn on the hot shower and shut the door with your Lo the steam should help clear her nose,Massage her feet with baby rub an keep her warm she should be fine in a couple of days. 3 Likes |

ciano1110: Sudocrem is an antiseptic cream, 15% zinc oxide. If she doesn't have a rash or eczema, I don't know if you should be using it. Why not show it to your doctor to see what she prescribes? Or put a picture up here, maybe someone can recognise what's going on or show a dermatologist. Also try coconut oil or shea or cocoa butter on the patches, it may work. I mix my own diaper rash protective cream from basic ingredients like beeswax, cocoa butter, Shea butter, lanolin, coconut oil. It's safe to use even on faces and hair (I use as my body cream) and keep the zinc oxide creams for when we have a rash (which is rare). |

Hello mamas, how are u all doing?i always wish I could contribute often to this thread but dis my job will not even allow me use my phone during work hours which is one of the issues that has brought me here tonight. So I'm considering the option of taking my LO to a crèche as I have not been able to find a replacement for my nanny that'll be leaving in December. My concerns are 1. How can I find a good crèche around Ogba and Ikeja environs? 2. How do I sort out feeding for my LO cos I resume work 7am and close 7pm. 3. I can't use my phone during the day and I can't go out of d office,so checking up on my LO at school is almost impossible but I guess my hubby will be d one to do that if he doesn't forget to always call. Pls I need mummies to suggest good crèches that they have used and can confidently say they are good or if u AV any reliable nanny contacts as I may still be needing one. My baby is just a year and one month and I just feel awful not been able to take care of her myself but not working means leaving my husband to handle all the bills and other responsibilities |

MGeey:Depends on your baby's demand. You may want to give the formula maybe twice for a start let's say morning and afternoon or morning and night or anyhow u want it then increase the number of times as he demands more. |
