GEJ enemies thought they disgraced you out if power but who knows God have in stocks for you. Since you left power some months ago, you continue to grow while your status and profile keep on rising, It is a clear manifestation that God is with you and some people who served this country and your government with honesty and clear mind. Those Nigerian continue to get international appointments despite what liars and propagandanist are saying about them.

GEJ some Nigerians acknowlegded what you had down in Aviation,Rule of Law, Education, Foeigrn Affairs, Road constructions and reabilitation, building of new schools for Alumajaris just to mention a few
It was during PDP government that Gov.Mimiko from Labour Party took over from Late Segun Agagu of PDP. It was during PDP administrations Aregbesola of ACN took over power from Olagunsoye Oyinlola of PDP and Kayode Fayemi of ACN from Segun Oni also of PDP. Nigerians see what we are non experiencing from PMB / APC government influencing electoral Tribunal's judgements using government merchineries.

I used to tell them that in the next 3 years Buhari would continue to commissions your job ongoing before you left office in May, 2015.

Nigerians let us fight against dictatorship.

On a neutral ground I stand!

This isn't new, neither is it surprising, the fact that he conceded defeat is what caught the attention of the international leaders; he has been regarded as a peace-keeper, and he'll continue to be regarded as one, until he has proven otherwise.

These appointments has nothing to do with him been the head of a 'bad' administration.

Na we black get black brain/mind, Oyinbo go believe you once u don do one better thing.

Hmmmmm.
It is becoming obvious that Nigerians made a mistake, after all, by facilitating GEJ ascendency to the presidency through the doctrine of necessity and subsequently voting him in in 2011.
With the benefit of hindsight, we can categorically say that GEJ should have been appointed as world ambassador extraordinary for election monitoring.
That would have earned Nigeria world acclaim than the poo he led us into as president.
Sometimes, your talent discovers you too late in life.
All shall be well, though, with Baba in charge.
And more assignments shall come GEJ's way, as Baba wishes.
What poo that has not existed pre GEJ ? people blame GEJ for Nigeria's poo as if OBJ was a saint.

ceometromedia:
Following his highly acclaimed leadership of the Commonwealth Observer Group in last month’s Tanzania general elections, the 53-nation body of former British colonies has given former President Goodluck Jonathan a fresh mandate to lead the charge for the resolution of the political stalemate in the semi-independent island of Zanzibar.

After the October 25 general elections which produced John Magufuli as the new President of Tanzania, the Jonathan-led COG and other international observers had endorsed the polling processes as credible.
However, tension rules on the island of Zanzibar, following the nullification of the presidential election results by the local electoral body, over claims of irregularities. International observers have continued to dispute this decision, on the grounds that both the voting and counting processes were held in an atmosphere of peace.

The Commonwealth which has a history of mediating on the island has kick-started the international efforts towards resolving the current crisis, by appointing Jonathan as its Special representative, in what analysts see as an affirmation of the former President’s towering status as the moral face of democracy and transparent polling in Africa. This development was conveyed to Jonathan last week in a letter sent to him by the Commonwealth Secretary General, MrKamalesh Sharma.

In the letter which Sharma personally signed, the Secretary-General had wrote: “As you are aware, the Zanzibar electoral situation remains unsolved, although recent reports indicating willingness by the main political parties to engage in talking is encouraging. In view of the Commonwealth’s historical role as the moral generator of the Muafaka Accords, it is important that we remain engaged to continue to encourage all concerned to resolve the situation in a peaceful and sustainable manner.
“I am therefore delighted and honoured that you have kindly agreed to be my Special Representative over the coming weeks, in order to remain in contact with key political leaders and to encourage them towards an expeditious resolution of the impasse. I am certain that your personal close interest can play a crucial role in building the necessary political bridges.”

He further commended Jonathan for his successful leadership of the COG, saying that he brought his rare experience to bear on the challenging mission. Sharma said further: “I am writing to thank you once again for rendering the Commonwealth such distinguished service through your generous personal commitment of time and your Leadership of the Commonwealth Observer Group to last week’s elections in the United Republic of Tanzania.

ONE THING PEOPLE DO NOT UNDERSTAND ABOUT THIS MAN JONATHAN IS THAT HE'S A MAN OF DESTINY. THERE'S A PROPHECY HANGING OVER HIS HEAD, HE'S BORN A GREAT MAN AND NO MORTAL CAN DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. INSULT HIM, HUMILIATE HIM, YET HE CLIMBS....I DONT KNOW HIM PERSONALLY BUT THESE ARE MY DISCOVERIES,. TO ALL HATERS AND CRITICISERS, THE BEST THING FOR YOU TO DO IS TO FIND A MAN OF GOD WITH RUGGED ANNOITING THAT WILL USE HIS WORDS TO CATAPULT YOU TO AN ENVIABLE HEIGHT, SO THAT YOU WILL START LIVING AND NOT JUST EXISTING. TANX TO ALL.

What manner of man is this?
Towering status as moral face of democracy and transparent polling in Africa.
Back here in Nigeria, some people forget that there is no such thing like a perfect man. They choose to only judge GEJ by his tolerable weakness and forget the beauty of his irresistible strength.
GEJ, just a double portion of your Goodluck is what I pray for.

As Richard bolt, once wrote to praise the 15th century chancellor of England, Sir Thomas More, I too will ascribe to GEJ the title of A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS. According to some of my sources, the ex President is being prepared for a International organization job. They further stated that this was the reason for the nod of foreign organizations and bodies to allow PMB, the grace to enter Aso rock.

We will pay for our stupidity someday. He may not have been a powerful president, but he's humane, patient and very peaceful. Now all we have are bloodhounds. Shame.

An undemocratic and greedy man who deployed all his energy and cunning to pepertuate himself in power through an obnoxious, unconstitutional and ignoble 3rd term project cannot be trusted with such serious matter of integrity. GEJ is an epitomy of civility, peace and integrity.

God bless you for these insightful comments. It's so ironical that a despot who described elections as a do or die affair is the one now lecturing us about democracy. He even has the effrontery to call for the probing of a man who voluntarily relinquished power, something he himself found very difficult to do!
