oduastates: I don't know about climate change cos Al Gore will have to convince me that it's real by giving the billions he made of that ponzi scheme as donations to disadvantaged folks across the globe. However, overpopulation is a big problem Nigerians need to start talking about. The oil isn't even enough to cater to 100million folks, but with the way the population of that country is growing at an alarming rate - the population should hit 250 million in the next ten years. So how are they going to cater to these folks? Desert encroachment is definitely another problem. Not just in Nigeria, but Africa as a whole. 1 Like |

tupacshakur: Lool. Yes, that's the problem with a lot of these chics these days. But you need to see their bodies - these chics are supremely blessed on both sides. I'll see if I can get some of their pictures on my instagram. We're somewhat the same. I'm not a fan of Yoruba chics as well. But what makes my case different is that: every time I try to get into a relationship, a Yoruba chic will just pop us out of nowhere and put me on smash - true story. All the chics I've been in proper relationships with all are Yorubas (one is half-Ijebu and half-delta, but since her dad is Yoruba, she's also Yoruba). And I'm still not a fan of Yoruba chics. I naturally mess with more Ghanaian, Caribbean, and Igbo chics - with few Yoruba ones on/off. Making kids grow up in a household where they will have to learn about Yoruba culture is something that I think about sometimes as well cos mums are the ones who raise kids. And there's no one better to do that than a Yoruba mum. 1 Like |

tupacshakur: Loool. Gangsta! Gangsta!! Gangsta!!! IlekeHD is just going through a phase - she used to be wild as fvck. You should know how 'em chics are when they start doing white-collar jobs. They tend to start hiding the wild side, and start showing only the professional/educated side. We know them. Just catch 'em when the lights go off - and the wild side they're trying to suppress will come out. 1 Like |

Fayose Pulls Down Oja’ba Market, to Construct New One in 18 Months Ekiti State Government has pulled down the ancient Erekesan (Oja’ba) Market in Ado-Ekiti with a promise to build an ultra-modern market in its place in 18 months. The Commissioner for Works, Mr. Kayode Osho, who was on site when the demolition started, reiterated the resolve of the state government to also give preference to former shop owners when the new market is built. A statement at the weekend in Ado-Ekiti by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Idowu Adelusi, said the exercise went smoothly. Osho said: ”I am giving the assurance that work will not stop the moment we start. The demolition has started now and then, it will be followed by clearing of the debris and the preparation of the place for construction to start. “Within the next few weeks, the contractors will be on site and the construction will start and I can give our words that within the next 18 months, the market will be completed. “As for the fear of some former shop owners that they would not be accommodated in the new market, there is no need for that. We are going to have more than enough shops for former owners and even those that will seek shops there. “We are going to give preference to those former shop owners. There is no cause for alarm. However, people should take the warning by Governor Ayodele Fayose serious that no trader will be allowed to loiter around here. “All former traders here are to move to Awedele and Agric Olope Markets. There are more than enough space to accommodate the traders. The bold and courageous step taken by Mr Governor should be commended by people who love good things and the development of our state. We are going to leave a legacy that people will appreciate for generations to come.” He said over N140 million was paid as compensation to former owners of structures in the demolished market. On the facilities to be provided at the new market, Osho said there would be over 1,000 shops for various categories of traders, a clinic, a car park for over 400 cars, a fire station among others. The issue of the reconstruction of the market has been of public interest in the past few weeks, following anxiety that the state government would extend the ultimatum given the traders to vacate the place. Thrice, the state government had postponed the deadline given the traders to move out, but Governor Fayose said few days ago that there would not be any further extension. http://westernpostnigeria.com/fayose-pulls-down-ojaba-market-to-construct-new-one-in-18-months/ |

Iya Agba you can say whatever you like but truth be told Fayose is really doing well a.t.m.The only thing is most of his "Eats Amala in Canteen" topics are the ones making the front page.If you check my post history, you'll realize most of the positive news I've posted have been from Ekiti |

Aareonakakanfo: The people that like this man aren't yorubas. Building an international airport in Ekiti is something I will never understand tho. It's not just about the money to build it, what about money to maintain it? Where's it going to come from? Or rather, from whom will he collect this money to pay off loans? The money from that alone can create more opportunities for tourism. |
