Good day nairalanders. Kindly assist me as I'm in a dilemma as which to choose. I am a highway driver and i cover an average of 600km weekly. I love the benz class but i also like the looks of the accord. I enjoy driving a lot. Kindly advise which will serve my purpose on the average without frequent visits to the workshop. . . . 600km weekly , this means you spend more time on the road than you actually do sleeping. Sincerely speaking, i was in your shoes about a year ago when i went for the 07 Accord having done about 4years with a w202 C180. If you have used a Mercedes previously, going after another brand will be a very difficult decision to choose from.

That being said, both rides are great, comfortable and reliable i must tell you but pocket-wise they have nothing in common. The 07 c230 is within the range of 2.5-2.7m for a clean-title well maintained tokunbo if not more going by the current exchange rate and import tariff while the Accord stands at a little less/= 2m.

Your level of knowledge about automobiles should help you decide, the w203 2007 c230 is kinda/a little complex as regards it engine configuration, diagnostics and otherwise but that should not deter you. Go for what you love, proper maintenance is the key. I have only said my opinion as am entitled to it.

The accord V6 is a monster on the road. Faster than a C230. The accord is a bigger car its classified as Midsized sedan, while the W203 is a compact sedan. The Honda Accord EX-L V6 is a much more luxurious vehicle than the W230 even though its classified as a mid class vehicle.
Its cheaper to run, own and maintain, parts are abound and technicians are abound. The Accord is sleeker than the W203. The W203 can handle sustained high speeds than the Honda accord due to its drive configuration.

He will end up killing his engine, his car or worst killing himself. He can't win a race against a 2004 CAMRY 3.3 V6 except round corners (and a camry in the hands of an experienced driver is a formidable weapon) na Avalon 3.5 V6 he wan race against. He's got a death wish.

Oga who told u the accord v6 can only go 130mph. Even the i4 can go more than that. I'm an accord guy, but in this case if I'm in his shoes I would still choose the accord, but that is because 2007 c230 sport only come in manual. I would choose the Benz if it was c280 luxury or c350.

Oga I'm currently using a 2006 c230 sport with auto tranny, 7G tronic. Wanted to go for the 2007 model but didn't like the increase in ride height, the one I checked also had an auto tranny so maybe the one u saw was a manual. Even if the honda can go more than 130, how do u think you will feel? Do u really trust honda that much to go more than 130?
